JConcepts pre-mounted Pin Swag & Fuzz Bites

JConcepts now offer their latest carpet tires, the Fuzz Bite front and rear as well as the Pin Swag rear as pre mounts on either white or yellow Mono rims. The Fuzz Bite lands on a low-profile carcass carried over from tires such as the Twin Pin. The low stance provides quick transition at high-speed and minimises side-wall deflection and roll. The pin is specially built in a reverse “water tower” shape planting the larger base at the bottom and narrowing at the top for precision. The pins are placed in a radius and repeated about for a healthy nest of pins to dig deep into matting in office carpet or tight knit CRC carpeting. The Swag is split down the centre to give a little individual control to contort to surfaces. In between, a stagger section with angular front is placed just behind a vertical rib to complete the design. The tight spacing of the Pin and Swag bite together and minimise wear across the carcass. An already low-profile carcass rolls through the turns and transitions well at high and low speeds.

New SR-CX28PRO carpet tires provide maximum consistency from the beginning to the end of a run and have enough durability on multiple carpet track conditions. Comes pre-installed with red lightweight inserts on strong nylon wheels.

Contact RC foam tire truer

Introducing the new Contact RC foam tire truer. This is a manually operated unit aimed at the mid range market that is made from robust materials including an excellent carbide cutting bit usually found on much higher priced truers. A special ‘Quick Skim’ feature allows fast surface refresh of the tyres, achieved by moving the cutter by hand rather than turning the wheel. Available with or without the carry bag, it is suitable for 1/8th down to 1/12th sizes and while not included there is a range of arbors available.

JConcepts tire inner sidewall support adaptors

The team at JConcepts have developed a new option for tire sidewall support. During high traction or loaded conditions, tire sidewall deflection causes oversteer and inconsistency with driving performance. By adding the inner sidewall support adaptor and gluing it into place, the sidewall effectively becomes much harder and allows a driver to enter smoother arcs and radius turns on the race track. Already used in competition, the sidewall support pieces have shown to work on glued, sealed, or naturally grippy surfaces where traction rolling or oversteer is an issue. In addition, when conditions are rough, bumpy or dusty, the additional support drives smoother and with more consistency. Available for 1/10th buggy (above) and 1/8th buggy tires, they come in a pack of 4 pieces.
