Dirt Racing Products Dirt Bands tyre gluing bands

JConcepts have introduced the yellow-colour Dirt Racing Products Dirt Bands rubber tyre glueing bands. A uniquely moulded design, specifically developed for tyre mounting, the rubber band is produced in a high-elasticity material capable of stretching to a full assortment of different sized tyres including 1/10th, SCT and 1/8th buggy tyres. A finely detailed array of ergonomically shaped handles allows the user to adjust the rubber band to the sidewall of each tyre to apply the pressure where it is needed. The Dirt Bands are coloured in Dirt’s signature yellow colour and will include four bands per package.

Pro-Line Blockade 2.2" 1/10th 4WD front tyre

Coming soon from Pro-Line is the Blockade 2.2″ front tyre for 1/10th scale 4WD buggies. Designed for loose, dusty or hard-packed conditions the tyre tread features large lugs for exceptional tread life while balanced tread spacing makes for maximum forward bite. On top of this the uniquely blended side tread reduces the edginess, making it also a very forgiving tyre. The Blockage is available in soft M3 and super soft M4 rubber and it includes blue closed cell inserts.

Schumacher 4WD Mini Pin 2 front tyre

In addition to the Mini Pin 2 rear tyre, Schumacher now have also introduced the Mini Pin 2 4WD front variant. The version 2 front tyre was designed to match the super high grip Mini Pin 2 rear tyre which is popular on lower traction multi surface venues. The tyre offers maximum steering response and it is available as tyre only or pre-glued on Schumacher’s 12mm hex Flexlight wheel.

Absima pre-mounted 1/10th drift tyres

Absima have introduced a new range of drift tyres for 1/10th scale vehicles. Coming pre-glued on 5, 9 or 10-spoke rims, in a range of colours as well as with two different tyre treads the wheels make every drift car stand out both on the track and in the work shop. All tyres come on 12mm hex adapter rims and in a standard off-set.

GRP Micro & Cross 1/6th scale off-road tyres

GRP have introduced the new Micro and Cross 1/6th scale off-road tyres. Starting with the Micro tyre, the tread was designed for the use on clean or slightly dusty tracks with medium to high grip. Smaller sized blocks make for good traction and and an easy to drive car. The Cross was designed for sandy and dusty low to medium grip conditions with the tyre’s asymmetric design allowing to adjust the overall grip available. The tread offers additional outer ribs on one side – which is not visible in the above rendering – to increase side bite in loose track conditions. Both 180mm tyres are available in the dirt-specific S-series and sand/astroturf specific P-series compounds including inserts.

Axial 2.2 BFGoodrich Baja T/A KR tyres

Axial have introduced the 2.2″ BFGoodrich Baja T/A KR2 off-road tyre for 1/10th scale off-road and crawler rigs. The winning tyre of the full-scale 2013 and 2015 King of the Hammers race, Axial’s 1/10th scale reproduction captures the same aggressive look and it provides performance on a wide variety of surfaces. Utilising a 2.2″ bead the tyre fits most 2.2″ wheels and it comes in sticky R35 compound with standard tyre foams included.

Jason Snyder launches RawSpeed brand

Jason Snyder, known for his popular YouTube channel, has introduced his own U.S. based RC accessory company named RawSpeed. Focussing on racers, the product range will include items such as tyres, wheels, inserts and body shells for both 1/10th and 1/8th scale cars. The first items released include the Rocket 1/10th buggy rear tyre for indoor clay tracks as well as the Enigma 1/10th buggy front tyre, again dedicated for indoor clay tracks and featuring a directional design for more or less aggressive steering response. Also part of the initial release are the Black Thunder closed cell inserts, the Tru-Spin 1/10th buggy wheels as well as 3D-printed ride height gauges. Other items include merchandising such as 3D embroidered hats and T-shirts.
