Ride introduce the Rex34 Ver2 touring car asphalt wheel. The rubber compound and orange moulded insert remain the same but the pre-glued wheels come with a redesigned disc rim that offers optimised moulding, an updated and more shock resistant material, an improved tyre fit, a reinforced hub and an improved glueing process to make for higher precision. The ver2 wheels come in sets of four and they are available now.

New from GRP come the Evolution V11 2015 touring car rubber tyres. Available pre-mounted on white disc rims the 2015 spec tyre features a new carbon composite belt and they are available in two carpet and two asphalt-specific compounds. The carpet C28 and C32 tyres are built using a lightweight insert while the A32 and A36 asphalt variants use a medium moulded insert. Markings on the outside of the wheel help with easy identification and the tyres are available in sets of four.

Schumacher introduce the new Minispike tyre for 1/5th large scale vehicles. Offering an inner diameter of 130mm the tyre is designed for the latest larger diameter wheels and it is available in Schumacher’s most popular yellow compound suitable for grass and astro surfaces. The tyre is supplied in pairs without inserts.

Schumacher introduce two new 1/10th off-road tyres, adding to their expanding range of tyres for multiple track conditions. Firstly the new 4WD wide front Stagger, this tyre has been developed for high grip astro and carpet surfaces and aimed at providing more grip whilst keeping stability associated with the staggered rib tyre. The 2.2 inch diameter tyre is suitable for 4WD and 2WD medium wheels and it is available in the Schumacher yellow compound for dry conditions and also inthe softer Silver rubber for damp and wet conditions. If you wish to skip that gnarly gluing job the yellow compound tyre is also available pre-mouted on the 4WD Flexlite 12mm hex wheel.

JConcepts introduce the Diamond Bar 2.2″ 2WD front buggy tyres. In slightly warm conditions, if a track has developed a groove, the Diamond Bars steer more in low and high-speed sections but do not react “on edge” or “dig” themselves into a corner. The close arrangement and low pin height react on the grippy surface providing speed and agility while the overall tyre size and blended pin/carcass smooth out the ride and initial turn-in attitude. The tyres are meant to excel outdoor or indoor where the track has taken on rubber and a groove has formed. Available in blue, green and red compounds including Dirt Tech closed cell inserts, the Diamond Bar carcass has been designed to work on either 2.2″ or 61mm/2.4″ wheels. The tyre comes ready to mount as 2.2″ or by trimming the bead; it’s an exact fit onto 61mm/2.4″ wheels.

JConcepts introduce their latest 1/8th buggy tyre, the Remix. Tested during the busy racing season at races such as the ROAR Off-Road Nationals, the tyre is a crossover tread bringing two tyre lines together. With directional side-bars and straight forward block detail, the Remix will serve as a high-speed blue groove tyre on larger style and flowing track layouts and the sidebars react calmly to bumpy sections while still giving stability as borrowed from the Metrix tyre. The blocks are beefy and medium in width and height, the overlapping centre arrangement gives forward tracking stability and the sidebars handle the all important cornering support. Included with the tyre, that will be available in blue, green and red compound, come grey Dirt Tech inserts.

LRP’s long-running CPX touring car carpet tyre has received an overhaul and are soon available in an updated V2 version. Featuring an optimised rubber compound for improved overall performance the tyre comes pre-glued to a new white colour disc wheel. JConcepts’ new Chasers 1/8th buggy tyres rely on hefty, medium lugs which are angular in multiple directions. The horizontal type tread has a striking similarity to the trusty Crossbow tyre but the Chasers have a lower, closer lug arrangement which gives improved responsiveness and bites in medium, high and low grip conditions. The wet and dry condition tyre has small recessed cuts in the top of the tread for extra edges and increased formability over terrain. The centre overlapping bar treatment increases durability in the highest wear region of the tyre. Included come JConcepts’ latest Dirt-Tech inserts and the tyre will become available in blue, green and red compound.
