Pro-Line soon have the Electron VTR 2.4″ 1/10th buggy rear tyre available. Coming in PL’s M4 super soft and MC clay compound, the tyre sports a mesh-type tread with supporting dots and a specially designed carcass. The indoor and outdoor clay track tyre fits Pro-Line’s new VTR range of wheels and will become available very soon.

JConcepts’ popular 1/8th buggy Bar Codes tyres are now also available in super soft green compound. The sticky rubber adds an option for racers needing a little extra edge with traction in the looser and hard packed conditions where the Bar Code tread is advantageous.

New from JConcepts come the 2.8″ Choppers monster truck tyres. The tall and burly square lug design of the Choppers provides a deep tread depth for heavy footing even in the toughest conditions with the recessed lugs give a multitude of fresh edges to maintain consistent traction during the initial phase of tread life. The tread alignment and spacing provides massive forward bite acting as a paddle in loose dirt or sandy bashing environments. The outer sidewalls include heavy JConcepts X-Tread support ribs to aid traction in tight conditions or while against sharp or angled objects. The inner side-walls have built-in ribbing for added tyre to insert support increasing cornering consistency. Heavy internal waffle pattern carcass ribbing strengthens the tyre structure while the included closed cell inserts provide the utmost support for high-speed turns while also minimising tyre expansion in straight-line drag situations. The tyres are available in blue and yellow compound as tyre only or pre-glued on Traxxas compatible JC Rulux wheels.

AKA have two new 1/10th off-road tyres available in the form of the Gridiron Evo buggy and Impact short course tyre. Starting with the Gridiron Evo, the 2WD/4WD buggy rear tyre is designed to excel on low-traction hard-packed tracks and it comes in AKA’s soft and super soft compounds. Coming as pairs the Evo line tyre is available including a red colour insert or pre-glued on white or yellow Evo rims.

Solaris Racing have introduced a new premium rubber compound called the EX series. Available in two different tire shapes (SP and SC) and three different compounds (30, 35, and 40) the EX tire has been thoroughly tested by racers around the globe with excellent results. The rubber formulation was specifically designed for asphalt racing and made to compete on the highest level against the best premium tires. Tires come pre-mounted with Solaris medium inserts in both spoke and dish rim.

The 1/10 Evo conversion kit from AKA allows to use any of the 1/10 AKA Evo tyres on Hexlite or any standard wheel, including 14mm hex wheels. The lightweight foam strips add tune-ability as you can use them with red Evo inserts, or omit them and use a standard red insert. Pro-Line introduce new VTR series 1/10th buggy tyres in the form of the Transistor VTR and Suburbs VTR. Starting with the Transistor the tyre is available as 2WD and 4WD front tyre and designed to offer good, consistent steering in a variety of conditions thanks to the dots and bars design. The Suburbs rear tyre is already known for its performance on indoor clay and outdoor blue groove surfaces and now comes also as VTR variant. The VTR tyres and wheels introduce the horizontal mounting style common in 1:8 Nitro and bring it to the precision environment of the 1:10 racing scene, resulting in the lightest tyre/wheel package possible. All three tyres are available in X2 medium, M4 super soft and MC clay compounds. The VTR tyre line is rounded out by the new Velocity VTR 2.4″ hex wheels for buggies such as the TLR 22, RB5 and RB6, B4.1/2 and the B44.1/2. The rims are available in fluorescent yellow and standard white.

Available as 2WD/4WD front and rear tyre in ultra soft Silver, extra soft Blue, soft Red, medium White and a special clay compound, the tyres are made for all track slick tyres can be run on such as specially prepped clay and some carpet tracks.
