Robitronic expand Platinum 1/8th BL motor range

Robitronic Platinum 1/8th brushless motors

Having released their range of Platinum 1/8th brushless motors back in February, Robitronic have now released a 9.5T and 10.5T version to add to the already available 6.5T, 7.5T and 8.5T versions. Featuring a sensored design for smoother response over non sensored versions, the timing is mechanically adjustable for fine tuning the motor’s performance to different track conditions. Sporting a sintered neodymium rotor with the now standard 5mm diameter shaft for use with regular 1/8th pinions, it comes supplied with a heatsink and ventilator.

Hobbywing have released their new and improved Xerun 1/8th scale brushless speed controllers. Available in 80A and 150A, the former is perfect for buggy and truggy use, while the latter is mainly used for monster trucks that need power on demand as well as 1/5th scale Baja conversions. Both run the new 608 software for lower rpm torque and both come with an LCD programmer box.
