Schumacher have announced the new 2010 spec GM Genius 120 & 90, the 2009 BRCA Modified TC Championship winning Speed Control as used by Chris Grainger, is now available. Featuring a cooler operating temperature by using a lightweight aluminium housing and special PCB design with extra-thick copper traces and optimized switching flanks. Highly efficient due to  faster 16-bit processor and optimized software, it has telemetry functions, new brake and power programs, 10 user programmable modes and user updateable firmware.

Robitronic Platinum 1/8th brushless motors

Seen during the toy fair earlier this month, Robitronic have released full details on their new Platinum Brushless motors for 1/8th scale buggies, truggies and monster trucks. Featuring a sensored design for smoother response over non sensored versions, the timing is mechanically adjustable for fine tuning the motor’s performance to different track conditions. Sporting a 12.3mm sintered neodymium rotor with the now standard 5mm diameter shaft for use with regular 1/8th pinions, the motor is available in 6.5T, 7.5T and 8.5T versions.

A Main Hobbies have announced a range of ProTek R/C brand regulated DC power supplies. Starting with the Pro 40, it has a regulated output of 13.8 volts at 40A while the Pro 20 has the same output voltage but with 20A. One final power supply is the super small Pro 10 regulated DC power supply which as the name suggest, has an output of 10A. All feature an internal cooling system that keeps the power supply cool even when it is being worked hard, as well as current limiting, and short circuit protection circuitry, while the Pro 40 and Pro 20 also feature an integrated USB connector for charging your personal electronics. Combine this with universal output 4mm banana jacks that can also be used with clamp type connectors, and you have one of the most flexible power supplies available. ProTek R/C have also released new battery packs including the Intellect IB4600SHV battery pack with Traxxas Connector and 4600mAh of capacity and is a hand soldered side by side pack. Other new packs include the IB4200 and IB3000 packs that are both available with either pre-soldered Tamiya or Traxxas connectors.

Swiss brand Green RC have released their new AC/DC Star Charger V1.0. When charging or discharging, the Star Charger has an ‘Auto’ Function that sets the feeding current automatically. Especially for Lithium batteries, it can prevent the over‐charging that can lead to damaged batteries. Featuring an in-built individual‐cell‐voltage balancer it can monitor and balance individual cells of the Lithium battery pack during the discharge progress. If the voltage of any one cell varies abnormally, the process will be stopped with the error message. You can charge Lithium battery for special purposes, the ‘Fast’ charge reduces the charging time of Lithium battery and ‘Storage’ mode controls the final voltage of the battery for long time storage. Suitable for NiCD, NiMH, Li‐Ion, LiPo, LiFe and lead‐acid (PB) batteries.

GM Racing Brushless Pro stock motors

Schumacher Racing are announcing that GM Racing have released two new Pro motors for 2010. The 10.5 and 13.5 turn motors both feature new improved cooling and performance with a shorter and lighter can. Now available and set to be BRCA legal, pending appearance on BRCA website, they have a sensored design, are fitted with a 12.3mm spec rotor and includes sensor leads for GM and other speed controls.
