CRC Maxxcell 5200mAh 1S LiPo pack

CRC have entered the battery market with their new Maxxcell line of LiPo racing batteries. Featuring a low profile terminal design, convenient 4mm bullet tubes (photo shows prototype), low internal resistance (IR), high average discharge voltage and long run time, the Maxxcell LiPo is a proven winner. The 50C peak discharge rates deliver the punch, while a true 5200mAh delivers the run time. The 4mm tubes and bullet connectors closely replicate the solder tabs most every racer has used for years. Wired batteries with connectors are inconvenient and difficult to use as each manufacturer uses different placement, wire lengths and connectors, plus space is tight in most 1:12th road racers, all that wire and connector bulk takes up valuable room. With the bullet connectors, the wiring is much cleaner, efficient and lightweight. The pack is ROAR legal and is built to fall within the rules of IFMAR, EFRA, BRCA and ROAR.

Speed Power 3.7V 5500mAh 45C LiPo pack

Speed Power have released this 1 cell 5500mAh racing LiPo battery, perfect for 1/12th scale racing. This hard case 3.7V pack features a discharge rate of 45C, weighs in at 151 grams and comes supplied with a Deans plug connector. EFRA and ROAR approval pending.

Vampire Racing 4400mAh 40C LiPo saddle pack

Vampire Racing have announced that their 4400mAh LiPo saddle pack, which was the most used battery type at the 2009 EFRA European Championships in Bilbao/Spain, has been updated. To provide you with better performance and even more power the discharge rate of this pack is now 40C instead of 30C. Available now from Vampire Racing dealers.

Speedzone 5000mAH Pro 50C 1S Lipo

Speedzone have released their first 1S 3.7v Straight LiPo Pack. The 5000mAh pro series packs have a 50C rating and a maximum charge rate of 5C, come with high performance 4mm bullet connectors and will ship with Speedzone battery rails/guides. The purpose of the battery rails is to help maintain the position of the battery pack in the car. Packs are ROAR approved and will fit all popular 1/12 scale link cars and WGT cars and come with a 60-day manufacturing warranty and a 6-Month ‘No Questions Asked’ warranty.

Speed Passion have introduced their ‘revolutionary’ Cirtix series of 1/10th and 1/8th scale slotless sensored brushless motors. Much More have released their new Hybrid balance charger & discharger. This microprocessor controlled AC/DC system features a super compact design and special blue LCD screen. A 5 amp charge current and 1 amp discharge system, a built in voltage balancer and real time individual monitoring ensure optimum handling of Lithium cells. This unit can handle all the usual cells including NiCd, NiMh, LiLo, LiPo and LiFe and has a maximum charge and discharge of 50 watts. Available in black, blue and grey.

IB LiPo line up for 2010

Team Epic are showing off the new for 2010 LiPo cells from IB. The new standard configuration packs are now able to boast a true 50C rating and will come in 5600mAh and 5000mAh versions. For cars that require saddle packs, as well as 1/12th scale using one 1 cell, IB now offers new smaller sized packs that come in 5200mAh with 45C and 5000mAh with 35C.
