LRP Vector X12 Aluminium tuning parts

LRP have released all new Vector X12 aluminium tuning parts to improve the performance and look of your brushless motor. Due to their special design the motor has better heat-dissipation and ventilation, resulting in a motor that runs a lot cooler. A motor that runs with lower temperature improves consistency and efficiency, making sure you will have maximum power also during the last lap. The new cool front housing with improved ventilation holes increases the airflow for a lower temperature, as well as lowering the overall weight of your brushless motor. The new black aluminium end cover with cooling fins, improves the heat dissipation significantly compared to the standard plastic endc over. Featured with laser engraved XTEC logo and A, B, C speedo cable connection, giving your motor a stylish look.

Speedzone 1S 3.7v Lipo Saddle Pack

Speedzone have sent us a CAD image of their upcoming 1 cell LiPo saddle pack, ideal for 1/12 scale T-bar cars. Even though link cars are growing in popularity, many 1/12 scale racers still prefer the t-bar design so Speedzone wanted to offer a LiPo option for those with t-bar cars. Rather than shifting around electronics and rebalancing the car to fit a standard lipo, a lipo saddle pack offers up a perfect solution. Specs will be 3.7v, 4600mAh rated at 40C and a max charge rate of 5C. The pack will feature in-built bullet connectors and general availability is set for late September.

CS Electronic LiPo Safety charging bags

CS Electronic have released their new LiPo Safety charging bags, which are available in 3 different sizes. A must have for all racers who charge LiPo packs, they reduce the potential damage from a battery fire and slow the spread of flames through the use of its flame retardant properties. A wide velcro strap at the top allows for quick use, while a side opening allows for the charge and balancer cables to be connected. Available in 240 x 300mm, 180 x 220mm and 90 x 220mm.

Reedy 40C 1:12 & 1:8 Competition LiPo Batteries

For 1/12th scale Reedy have released an all-new 40C 1S 3.7V LiPo featuring a stepped case that allows bodies to be mounted properly without interfering with the battery. The use of convenient 3.5mm sockets works with the stepped case design to create additional room plus their smaller size reduces weight while their male counterparts more closely match the commonly used 14 and 16 gauge ESC wires. A capacity of 4600 mAh at 40C means long run times and high power for all racing classes. Handy locating tabs allow the battery to fit neatly into existing battery slots and are easily removable (without compromising case strength) for flat chassis applications. Also new from Reedy is their all-new 40C 4S 14.8V LiPo which delivers insane power and extended runtimes thanks to its 40C rating and 5000mAh capacity. LRP Vector8 & SPX8 Brushless system

More news from LRP who have released their new 1/8 Brushless System. The new Vector8 brushless modified motor is based on the IFMAR World Championship winning XTEC X12 brushless modified technology. This motor is specifically tailored for 1/8 Off Road racing with its longer teardown with special cooling fins, longer stack, magnet and shaft for higher torque and maximum performance. To control that motor, LRP release the new SPX8 Competition brushless speedo which is based on one of the most successful competition speed controllers, the Sphere Competition TC-Spec. It now features a special 1/8 software and has especially been optimised for the use with 2S-4S LiPo batteries. The result is a high-end speed control that will enthuse the 1/8 electric R/C car scene.
