Novak Havoc 3S Brushless/Brush ESC

Novak’s powerful Havoc 3S Brushless/Brush ESC is based on the Havoc Sport and has the ability to run on either two or three-cell Li-Po batteries, which the speed control automatically detects through their proprietary auto-detect software. This feature allows users to run a wider range of batteries and – for the speed-hungry racers – bestows the Havoc 3S with even more speed than its predecessor. Featuring a small footprint and low cost, this ESC contains a very strong BEC for sport applications and includes nine adjustable parameters to fine-tune brake and throttle response.

Trinity Cost Oriented Technology

Trinity have introduced a new C.O.T. class which stands for Cost Oriented Technology. Created for racers that just want to show up and race without worrying if they have the latest and greatest technology to be competitive. It is a great new option for tracks and large events that want controlled handout style racing, at an economical price. The C.O.T. Power Package includes a blue hard-cased 3200mah 30C Intellect LiPo pack with a Deans connector (R.O.A.R. legal) and a specially designed 13.5T or 21.5T Pulse brushless motor (R.O.A.R. approved) developed by Trinity, featuring a one-of-a-kind marked shaft and fixed timing adjustments, making tech inspection easy and giving race directors the freedom to set timing rules to fit their racing programs. For the Snowbirds there is a C.O.T. class for oval, and road, with oval using the 21.5 motor and Touring using a 13.5 motor.

Trinity SpeedGems BL Modified Motors

This February Trinity will launch their all new SpeedGems brushless motor line. CS Electronic 1800mAh micro LiPo pack

CS Electronic have released a new micro LiPo pack for use in 1/18th and 1/14th scale cars. This 1800mAh pack gives longer runtime, more power and is much lighter than the standard 2/3A 6 cell packs that it replaces. Featuring a cell rating of 25C, this 7.4v pack is supplied with pre mounted 16AWG power cables as well as balancer port.

Much More Shift Reversable ESC

Much More have released the Shift, the company’s new reversable speed controller. The new design uses a higher spec of new FETs, providing longer runtime and more durable performance compared the previous ESC. Suitable for 17-55T motors, it features automatic setup, has a built in overheating protection system and is shock resistant.

ProTek range of LiPo packs

A Main Hobbies have announced a new range of ProTek R/C brand Lithium Polymer battery packs as well as new clutch bell housings. Available in 3200mAh of capacity with a 25C constant discharge rate, 3800mAh of capacity with a true 30C constant discharge rate and a 4900mAh of capacity with a 25C constant discharge rate. These 3 packs include a balance charge lead with a Deans style T-plug installed. The balance adapter included is a 4-pin Align/E-Flite style XH balance connector. These battery packs are built using a hard plastic pack that is required for use at ROAR sanctioned tracks and events. Also new for your starter box is a 4-cell 2200mAh 15C power pack. This pack has T-Style Ultra connectors pre-installed, and comes with a 5-pin Align/E-Flite style balance connector. Finally from ProTek are these hardened clutch bells, which are precision cut, hardened and anodized black to give you the best maintenance free performance. There are three different lines of clutch bells available. The PTK-700x lineup are designed to fit Kyosho family vehicles and come in sizes ranging from 13T to 17T, the PTK-705x lineup are designed to fit OFNA and Mugen family vehicles and come in sizes ranging from 13T to 17T, while the PTK-706x lineup are designed to fit Team Losi 8ight family vehicles and come in sizes ranging from 13T to 16T.
