Seen for the first time at the toy fair back in February, the new 5300 SHO cells are now available from Team Orion. Team Orion product experts run what they make and understand the need for performance at all levels and compliance with all governing body rules and safety standards. Orion staff has gone the extra mile to form a relationship with a select supplier to develop cells so good they put its name on them. Team Orion Super High Output cells are developed with the input of Oscar Jansen, who has been developing world champion sub-C cells for decades. Not yet approved for sanctioned racing.

Much More Connectors & Leads

Much More Connectors & Replacement Leads

Much More have again released a large number of connectors and replacement leads for a wide range of applications. First up is the MSC-CRE Receiver Connector to Tamiya Connector for easy connection to a receiver battery connector, while a Tamiya connector on the other side allows easy and safe connection for most popular budget GP car charger outputs. Similar in configuration to the previous cable, other connectors include the MSC-124, that allows easy connection to a 1/24 scaled car’s battery connector, an EP Air connector and finally a connector for attaching a glow plug starter. Much More have also released 2 replacement lead connectors, one for BEC receiver male/female connectors and separately for Mini Inferno male/female connectors.

Kawada LX Lipo packs & Balance Charger

New from Japanese firm Kawada are these new LiPo packs as well as a new LiPo balance charger. Similar to those recently shown to us by Speed Passion, these new LiPo packs comes in both a hard cased carbon look racing pack and a stick pack configuration complete with rounded corners as well as power cable and balancer connection. Both packs are 4000MAh, with the racing pack contain 30C cells and the stick pack only 20C. Also newly released by Kawada is a simple LiPo balance charger that lets you charge at 2.0A, 1.5A, 1.0A and 0.5A and can work with up to 4 cell 14.8 volt packs.

Much More have released a number of new wiring accessories starting with this multi purpose charging connector, that allows you to charge all 4 of your essentials in one go. Supplied with two charging jacks for different transmitters – suitable for JR, KO, Futaba, Sanwa, Hitec and many more transmitters, a receiver connector, Ultra plug, BEC connector and an extra wire for your custom connection. The Multi Charging Connector is fitted with gold plated 4mm Hyper Banana Connectors which provides you with a safe and stable connection to most popular battery chargers. Also new is the Hyper connector series which are ideal for 7.2V battery packs. The gold plated connector jacks are 4mm Euro connectors housed in a red moulded plastic casing which is designed to prevent short circuiting. Finally there are the Hyper Banana connectors which are ideal for 12V input from electronic devices such as chargers. Again using gold plated connector jacks, the ends are housed in red and black moulded plastic for easy identification.

Corally have released a number of new items for both the Corally RDX Phi as well some items for general use. For the RDX Phi there is an all improved differential, designed to ensure long lasting super smooth trouble free diff action. The new diff uses 18 2.5 mm chrome balls which run on large super hard diff washers, and this combination guarantees to handle the higher torque required for today’s brushless racing. Also new is a special brushless motor case that carries up to 4 batteries, 2 small assortment cases, 2 brushless armatures and 3 brushless motors. Finally Corally have released the latest version of the Intellect Sub-C cells, called IB4600SHV, which feature improved voltage, and the latest edition of IB 2/3A single cell, a 1600mAh High Discharge Type called IB1600 that is also available as IB1600 receiver pack.

Trinity I-Balance LiPo Management System

Trinity have announced this new I-Balance Li-Po Battery Management System, which offers all-in-one charging, discharging, and balancing for not just LiPo’s but Ni-CD, Ni-MH, Li-Ion, Li-Fe, and even PB (lead acid) batteries. The I-Balance uses a unique individual cell voltage balancer, which means that an external balancer when charging LiPo’s is not required. Other features include delta-peak detection, “fast charge” mode, auto charge current limit, capacity limit, 5-slot data storage/recall, temp monitoring, cycling, LCD display, and touch pad keyboard. You can also manage your packs with a PC through the optional USB interface cable (sold separately).
