Reedy have announced the release of the all new RM6 based Stockstar 27T Stock and Challenger 19T Spec motors which have been designed and conceived in house by their team of dedicated engineers. Dyno and on-track testing reveal all-around performers with a dynamic balance between RPM and torque that makes both motors the perfect choice for 1/10 scale on and off-road racers and well as the dedicated 1/12 scale racer.

Trinity Li-Pro Battery Pack

Trinity has made available the same Li-Pro battery pack that powers its new NOW brushless truggy available for use in other electric vehicles like the Associated RC-18T. The Lithium Polymer technology of the Li-Pro battery pack makes for a longer running battery at a lighter weight than possible with Ni-Cd or Ni-MH batteries. The Li-Pro battery pack comes with a Tamiya style power connector and a separate charging plug for use with balance chargers.

K-Factory EP motor Cooling Head

K-Factory have announced the relase of this TC Motor Cooling Head which has been designed to fit the Team Magic E4 perfectly, as well as any other electric car with a transverse mounted motor. Machined from aluminium, and anodized black, it cools the motor effectively due to the fins being turned 90 degrees that enables a constant flow of aire through the heat sink.

Team Orion are close to releasing 2 new revolutionary, self developed, competition level cells. Set to take the EP world by storm are these 4200MAh SHO, super high output, competition cells that have been specifically developed by Oscar Jansen and the company’s Chinese Engineering development team to be chemically stable, which elimates explosions and cell failure due to self discharge. These are the first cells to be actually made by Team Orion themselves and they promise to deliver great power and long run times, and as an added bonus they can be purchased as hand made packs in saddle or straight 5 or 6 cell configurations, as well as loose. Team Orion have also announced new 2/3 A type cells that use the same chemical structure as the 4200 cells and are great for powering your micro racer or configured as receiver packs that offer long run time and can easily cope with high current servos in both off road and on road cars. Both types of next generation cells will be available to buy in the next 2 weeks.

Speed Passion Gran Turismo & Feigao ESCs

Speed Passion were in contact to tell us about their new line of brushless speed controllers, called the Gran Turismo and Feigao. The Gran Turismo has been designed for competition touring car racing and can handle 2.5R brushless motors, or 4 turn brushed motors, and has a maximum output current of 600A. It comes with a built in green power feature that gives you consistent power delivery and longer run times, and it also allows you to adjust the brushless motor timing using its 8 built-in modes. The Feigao on the other hand is designed for use with Pro Stock on road racing, or modified off road class racing, working best with 9.5, 10.5 11.5 and 13.5R BL motors. With a maximum current of 240A, the ESC can handle up to 5.5R motors with 6 cells or a 4.5R with 5 cells. This ESC features a special racing design program that allows the user to adjust the start, punch and braking.

Ansmann 1200MAh Hump pack

German company Ansmann has released this hump pack configured receiver battery pack. Made using high quality 1200MAh cells, the pack is supplied with cable and plug and is suitable for 1/10th stadium trucks and 1/8th scale buggies, as well as other cars that take this type pack.

CS Electronic Power Packs

CS Electronic from Germany have been in touch to let us know about their new range of pre assembled 7.2V battery packs, called Power Pack. Available in 4000MAh, 3700MAh, 3300MAh and 3000MAh they are made using high quality cells and offer great run times and performance as well as great value for money. All packs have a plastic outer casing and are supplied with a Tamiya type plug.
