Eagle Racing comm lathe

Japanese company Eagle Racing have announced today, the release of this small and effective comm lathe that weighs in at only 604grams and has a very small footprint too, meaning it won’t take up much space on your pit table and apart fromt that, it does exactly what every other comm lathe does, and we’re sure it does it well to. Also available from Eagle Racing today is a range of aluminium option parts for the Losi Micro-T, such as wishbones, shock towers, uprights, wishbone mounts and gears some of which you can see below.

Much More motor & armature Box

Following on from our post about the new Much More armature tubes yesterday, comes this cardboard carry case for both those armature tubes, as well as your precious motors. The Much More branded box, is filled with foam for maximium protections and can hold 4 armature tubes, that are supplied, and up to 6 motors.

Setting the brushes correctly in your motor is essential to avoid unnecessary damage to the motor and improve overall performance and so Hybrid have released these brush setters. Coming in a number of anodised colours the ‘perfect brush setter’ set aids in the setting and further running in of new brushes and is an essential tool for all electric racers that run brushed motors.

Team Orion Element 19T 2007

Team Orion have just released details on their site about the 2007 version the Element 19T compeition electric motor. The Mega Flow can has been re-engineered,Â and features strategically placed vents for maximum airflow and optimized magnetic field strength which results in increased power output and fade-free performance from start to finish.

A precision wound 19T armature is wrapped with 19 AWG pure copper wire featuring construction designed to optimize the balance between low-end torque and high speed RPM for excellent performance in competition Touring Car, Off-Road, and 1/12 scale vehicles. Makers of all things LiPo, VXR Racing have released this LiPo Smart Charger called the ANY-2700Li. This lightweight and portable digital power system is fully capable of charging up to 3500mA, and 5 cells in series, and has reverse polarity protection circuitry to avoid catastrophy when your brain fails and you connect up backwards.

The LRP IPC V7.1 controller had amassed somewhat of a legendary status thanks to its success and popularity, and now LRP have released the follow up to that legend, the IPC V8.1 Generation+. The new integrated V8.1 Technology has even better driving feel and 25 power maps for fine tuning making this speed control a first choice for tough competition environments. Special highlights include adjustable automatic brake for onroad and adjustable initial brake for off road models – for excellent brake control. Another new controller from LRP is the V4.1 Generation+ which is based on the World Champion technology of the legendary V7.1 controller combined with the spirit of the new IPC V8.1 Generation+. Although the V4.1 has the original IPC technology, it has been adapted for street and fun racers.
