Yeah Racing Hackmoto V modified & stock motors

Coming from Yeah Racing are their new Hackmoto V modified and stock 540-class brushless motors. The motors were designed with performance in mind, as by using oversized copper wires, the internal resistance of the motors has been lowered. Oversized angled copper solder tabs allow for ample space for soldering even large diameter wires and the motor case has been lightened as much as possible to reduce the weight which allows racers to easily balance their cars while helping with cooling. The sensored motors feature aluminium end bells, high-power Neodymium magnets and high-power rotors and they are available as 5.5T, 10.5T, 13.5T and 17.5T variants.

Absima Revenge CTS 8 V3 1/8th speed controller

Absima have announced the release of their new Revenge CTS 8 V3 speed controller for competition 1/8th scale applications. The speedo utilises a machined aluminium case and add-on cooling fan for optimised heat dissipation while the software allows for a wide range of throttle and brake adjustments, ensuring the ESC can be adapted to virtually every driving style and track condition using an optional programming box. The 180A rated controller is of a sensored design, it features a 6v/7.4V BEC system, all black wires for a professional factory look and it is usable with up to 6S LiPo battery packs.

Maclan Racing MMax 8 1/8th 200A competition ESC

Maclan Racing have introduced their new MMax 8 brushless speed controller for 1/8th scale applications. Developed from the ground up in cooperation with IFMAR World Champion, Jared Tebo, the ESC is of a heavy duty design, ensuring its hardware components meet the demands of high end competition racing while the software side of things enables the racer to take fully control of a multitude of parameters, ensuring the controller can be adjusted to all driving styles and track conditions. The MMax 8 utilises an all-aluminium case that ensures maximum heat dissipation and extreme durability. The 40mm HV turbo ESC fan provides that extra insurance to cool down the ESC in extreme ambient conditions. The super-switch-mode BEC is designed to handle true HV for all types of servos from 6V to 8.4V while the 32-bit micro processor allows for data processing at blistering speeds for improved throttle and brake control.

Absima Revenge CTM V3 1/8th scale brushless motor

Absima from Germany have announced the release of their new Revenge CTM V3 1/8th scale electric brushless motor. The 4-pole motor is of a new design for an overall lower weight and increased performance with a CNC-machined heatsink design can making for improved cooling efficiency and less fading during a run. Other features include a high-torque stator, a high-strength balanced rotor, stainless steel ball bearings, silver-plated heavy-duty solder tabs as well as adjustable timing. The 4269-size motor weighs in at about 320g comes in five different winding variants including 1750kV, 1900kV, 2100kV, 2300kV and 2500kV and it is available from now on.

Maclan Racing MR8.3 1/8th scale brushless motor

Coming from Maclan Racing is their new MR8.3 electric brushless motor for 1/8th scale applications. The MR8.3 is 4.5mm shorter and up to 25g lighter than its predecessor with an all-new stator and rotor design offering a more linear and smoother power band along with higher efficiency for an overall lower power consumption. The motor also features an additional sensor port for easier wiring and it comes in the two kV options of 1900kV and 2100kV. For the best overall performance Maclan Racing recommends to use the motor with the soon to be releasing MMax 8 speed controller, however they are usable with all other sensored 1/8th scale brushless speed controllers too.

Horizon Hobby have introduced the new Spektrum Smart Powerstage bundles that that include Smart Technology high-quality hardcase batteries and chargers. When a Spektrum Smart LiPo battery is connected to a Spektrum Smart charger, unique parameters and health of that Smart LiPo battery upload from the Smart memory microchip integrated into the battery. Absima have introduced their latest 1/10th scale competition speed controller, the Revenge CTS 10 V3 160A. The ESC is housed in a machined all-aluminium case, it is built using durable high-quality hardware and uses highly adjustable firmware, allowing to adapt the controller to a wide range of motors and racing conditions. A small on/off switch makes wiring easy while all-black wires ensure a professional look. Muchmore have introduced their all-new Impact Silicon Graphene Super LCG 7.4V 5800mAh LiPo battery pack. Built from highest quality 130C cells the ultra low profile pack offers a high capacity and a super low internal resistance and thus improved power supply for both modified and stock class racing.
