SkyRC Toro TS150 Pro 1/8th speed controller

Coming soon from SkyRC is their new Toro TS150 Pro brushless speed controller for 1/8th scale vehicles. Designed for buggies, trucks and monster trucks but also usable for 1/8th on-road kits, the 150A-rated controller offers an aluminium heatsink case, a 6V high-power BEC system with up to 8A, as well as a multitude of software features that include adjustable timing as well as throttle and brake curve adjustment to name just a few. The controller is adjustable using SkyRC’s Progbox or WiFi module and it comes including a heavy duty fan unit that is meant to be a lot more durable compared to standard fans – even when running in demanding track conditions and on track with large jumps.

HRC Racing 4000mAh round hardcase LiPo pack

HRC Distribution have introduced the new HRC Racing 4000mAh round hardcase LiPo battery pack. Designed to fit any kit that requires NiCD or NiMH racing-pack-style batteries, such as many Tamiya and older Kyosho cars, buggies and trucks, the pack is also ideal to power nitro starter boxes. Housed in a hardcase for protection the oval diameter battery is built from quality 40C cells, making it ideal for stock and mild modified motors. The pack comes pre-wired with an industry-standard balancer port and either and T-type or Tamiya-style plug.

Ruddog 7.6V Graphene Plus LiHV battery packs

Ruddog Distribution from Germany have introduced their new Graphene Plus LiHV battery range. The high-performance packs are built using high-power 100C Graphene Plus technology cells for more power over the whole run and less fading towards the end, resulting in constant lap times. The batteries are available as 6000mAh or 8000mAh standard-size as well as 5500mAh shorty battery pack, and they make use of new semi-transparent hardcases with split stickers, ensuring the batteries look good for longer. Other features include 5mm bullet-type connectors for best possible power supply and they come in handy, reusable plastic boxes for convenient transportation and storage.

Yokomo RPXII brushless speed controller

Yokomo have introduced their all new RPXII brushless speed controller for 1/10th scale racing and drift classes. The ESC utilises the highest grade FET technology for the lowest possible internal resistance and high efficiency, giving more power and runtime while producing minimum heat. The new ATH Auto Throttle Function with simplified settings for stock classes as well as a new and efficient boost adjustment, frequency as well as individual PWM and brake frequency adjustment help to fine-tune the driving feeling as is the new voltage limit function to manage possible throttle fading during a run. The controller is housed in an aluminium case and it utilises a 30mm fan unit for best possible heat dissipation. Along with the release of the controller comes a new programming card that can store up to three kinds of setting modes to maximise the usability.

Of typical 1/12th scale dimensions, measuring 93x47x18.5mm, the pack is built from high-quality 60C/120C cells, making it usable for high-power on-road and off-road classes where the 160g pack can lower the overall centre of gravity thanks to its 18.5mm height.

Muchmore Impact 4400mAh M17 transmitter battery

Coming from Muchmore and made for the Sanwa M17 transmitter is the new Impact 4400mAh 3.7V LiPo battery pack. Measuring 76×44.5x10mm the pack is a direct fit for Sanwa’s latest competition radio. The battery comes pre-wired with a universal-type connector and it weighs in at 71g.

Hitec X2 Black dual output AC charger

Hitec Japan have introduced their forthcoming X2 Black dual output AC charger. Offering two independent 100W charge outputs for 1S to 6S LiXX batteries the AC-powered charger is decked out with a reverse LCD that offers improved visibility even outdoors while touch buttons allow for easy navigation through the menu options. Built-in fan units and a highly efficient heatsink are keeping the charger cool and the firmware offers features such as Bluetooth smartphone connection, real-time cell monitoring, and scan-to-go function for easy and secure battery charging. The charger measures 127x115x71mm, it weighs in at 561g and is good for up to 15A charge current.
