Neumann pulls off Qualifying double at EOS

Joern Neumann will carry the No.1 starting number on both his buggies in tomorrow’s A-Mains at the Euro Offroad Series opener in the Czech Republic after the German ace completed the double in buggy qualifying.  Having secured overall TQ honours in 2WD Buggy from Durango team-mate Hupo Hönigl, the European Champion went on to put in his fastest run of the weekend in the closing heat of the day to be crowned Top Qualifier again from his Austrian team-mate.

Neumann rules opening qualifier

Joern Neumann has TQ’d the first round of qualifying in both buggy classes at the opening race of the TLR/Spektrum Euro Offroad Series in the Czech Republic, the German ace outpacing TLR’s Oskar Levin in 2WD and his own Team Durango team-mate Hupo Honigl in 4WD.

EOS jumps into life in Czech Republic

After months of preparation and planning Scotty Ernst & Uwe Rheinard watched their newest race series jump into life this morning in the Czech Republic as drivers from 13 countries took to the indoor carpet track in Hrotovice for Day 1 of the opening round of the exciting new TLR/Spektrum Euro Offroad Series presented by Horizon Hobby.  With six round of practice making up today’s schedule the focus of attention is going to be on the head to head battle between the full factory squads of Team Losi Racing and Team Durango.

TLR & Spektrum back inaugural EOS

The organisers of the inaugural ‘Euro Offroad Series’ are delighted to announce that Horizon Hobby, through their Team Losi Racing and Spektrum brands, will be title sponsors of the three round 1:10 electric offroad series which is set to kick off in the Czech Republic in just under two weeks time. To be known officially as the ‘TLR/Spektrum Euro Offroad Series presented by Horizon Hobby’, the partnership is a huge endorsement of the brand new series and will see Team Losi Racing send one of their star American drivers to each of the events with 2010 US National 2WD Buggy Champion Mike Truhe entered for the opening race.

Mike Truhe confirmed for EOS Rd1

The opening race of the Euro Offroad Series (February 10th to 12th) in the Czech Republic is shaping up to be a great event with the organisers confirming that former ROAR national Champion Mike Truhe will be making the trip over from the US to compete in the event. The TLR driver will join other top drivers from around Europe to compete for the win in the first race of this exciting electric offroad series. Neumann & Honigl confirmed for EOS Rd1

The organisers of next month’s Euro Offroad Series season opener (February 10th to 12th) in the Czech Republic have confirmed that Team Durango will be sending their factory team to Hrotovice for round 1. Winner at the EOS Pilot race in Sweden last year, Joern Neumann will be in attendance, coming off a dominant indoor season that has seen him win both the DHI Cup and Petit race in the last fortnight. He will be joined by team mate Hupo Honigl, who also took a win at last weekend’s Petit race and both are confirmed to run in the 4wd, 2wd and 4wd SC classes. More top driver announcements will come in the next days, including a Japanese superstar, as this race shapes up to be a classic. As the New Year is upon us, all of us in the EOS organization want to wish everyone a very happy New Year. The new year will bring with it the beginning of the much anticipated Euro Offroad Series, kicking off in the Czech Republic on February 10th to 12th. As we prepare for the EOS, we would like to take this time to announce that the official race tire for the 2012 EOS will be dBoots tyres. European Offroad Series announced

After much planning we are pleased to announce the dates for the much anticipated 2011/12 Euro Offroad Series. Scotty Ernst and Uwe Rheinard, the organizers behind the very successful Euro Touring Series ‘ETS’, have taken their format and formula and will be bringing it to the exciting world of Offroad. The four round EOS will kick off in the UK at Ardent Raceway on November 4-6 2011, the premier indoor facility in the UK and the perfect place for the EOS to get underway.
