Miguel & Nascimento win at CRB Cup Rd2

Last weekend saw the 2nd round of the CRB Cup take place in Lisbon, Portugal. Despite restrictions a solid number of drivers turned up in both touring and formula to enjoy a clean, sugar watered track and a beautiful sunny day. In TC, Rodrigo Ferreira (Awesomatix) drove brilliantly and took the TQ spot. During the finals, there was some amazing head to head competition, but in the end Hugo Miguel (Serpent) took the win followed by Rodrigo Ferreira and Rui Rodrigues (Xray).

TRCA Offroad Series Rd3 – Report

Last weekend saw the third round of the TRCA offroad series at the beautiful and unique track of Titan RC Arena in Warsaw, Poland. The event was open to Modified and Stock Buggy classes as well as Truck Pro and mini classes and every driver was able to take part in a lottery. 2wd modified qualifying was dominated by young Xray driver Bartek Kramza followed by Sebastian Migal. A1 and A2 then again went in Bartek’s favour as he brought home the win in both legs to take the overall from Sebastian in 2nd. Jeremi Kramża (Schumacher) came in 3rd to round out the podium.

2020 Schumacher GP Italy – Announcement

Schumacher have announced the 2020 edition of the Schumacher GP Italy. Held at the 4th of October at the popular RC Landia track in Scandiano, renowned for hosting the popular annual Charity Race and host for the upcoming EFRA GT12 European cup in November. The event will act as a warm up race to that event, with GT12 among the classes catered for, but the event will also see LMP, Touring Car and FWD classes run. Maxim Laverychev wins Russian double header race

The 2020 Russian Cup and Russian Championship was a double header race that took place at the Lemar Modelsport track recently. Due to the Coronavirus the race wasn’t so well attended, but racing was tight an in the end it was Maxim Laverychev with the win in the Modified Touring classes of both the Russian Cup and the Russian Championship with both races run on the same weekend. Ilya Plakhotnik came in 2nd overall in the Russian Cup while Andrey Samoylenko rounded out the top 3.

Bartek Zambrzycki wins at Polish Off-road Nats Rd4

Round 4 of the Polish 1/8th Off-road Nationals was held in Wlodowa last weekend. The event took place on what is considered the country’s largest and most challenging off-road track with the weather – hot and dry on Friday and Saturday and cold and wet on Sunday – further adding to the mix. It was Bartek Zambrzycki (Agama) who showed maximum adaptability to the changing conditions, securing the TQ as well as the win after the shortened 22-minute A-main. Tomek Gadnicki (Xray) came in 2nd overall from Igor Goderski (Mugen) in 3rd.

Flavio Elias wins at Brazilian GP On-road opener

The opening round of the Brazilian nitro on-road nationals took place in Americana recently. In the 1/8th IC Track class it was multi-time national champion, Flavio Elias with the overall TQ and he also brought home the win in the 40-minute A-main event. Eduardo Dulac came in 2nd overall, some 15 seconds behind Elias as Samuel Prato came in 3rd overall, already some eleven laps down.

Jerome Sartel doubles at Coupe de France

The Limousin Mini Racing Car club hosted the Coupe de France race this past weekend in 1/8th E-Buggy and Truggy classes. In the E-Buggy Coupe de France class it was Jerome Sartel with the overall TQ and he also brought home the win after the quadruple A-main events from Jean-Pierrick Sartel in 2nd with the two ending tie on points. Theo Lemaire came in 3rd overall. Over in the Truggy class it was again Jerome Sartel with the overall TQ after a clean sweep in the qualifiers and he also swept the four A-main legs for another overall win to round out a perfect weekend. Baptiste Menager followed on the runner-up spot as Roger Manigot completed the top 3.
