Steven Hartson dominates 2wd & 4wd at JBRL Rd7

The 7th round of the Jimmy Babcock Racing League (JBRL) series was held last weekend and Associated was represented well at the races with drivers in almost all the classes. The most prestigious classes however were 2WD and 4WD Modified. This is where Steven Hartson laid down the law with TQ runs in both classes and finished it off with two wins as well. Hartson, utilizing Reedy batteries and LRP X12 motors in his JConcepts-equipped B4.1 and B44.1, was never challenged in the 4WD main event. However, a bobble in the 2WD main saw others lead, including teammate Chris Jarosz. With determination and raw speed, Hartson fought back to the front of the pack with only laps remaining in the event to claim his second victory of the long day.

Frank was on hand to run his brand new TLR 22T for the first time at a JBRL Race, and it did not disappoint. Frank would put down a clean and very quick run in the first round of qualifying, that would not be challenged. After trying some setup changes in round 2, Frank reverted to his Q1 setup for the main event. On the first lap, Frank made a costly error, dropping him back to 5th, but a few quick laps and clean passes quickly got Frank back into the lead where he would remain until the end of the race.
