Marc Fisher wins Belgian EPS

Marc Fisher wins Belgian EPS

The European Pan Series took place in Belgium on the last weekend of November. Free practice started on Saturday morning followed by controlled practice and Team Corally driver Marc Fischer had a very good feeling with his 12SL from the very beginning, however a lot of drivers had problems with the track layout since it was made out of steel and the cars easily broke. Following practice there was 4 qualification rounds and Marc improved from one qualification round to another. For comparison in the first qualification round Marc’s fastest round was 44 laps and 10,5 seconds fast lap and in the last qualification round for that day Marc ran 45 laps and 10,1 seconds fast lap and so he stood on overnight TQ until Sunday morning when there were two more qualification rounds and the finals. The last two qualifiers were very good and Marc changed a bit on the car to be better which helped, again Marc ran 10,09 seconds and the fastest 46 round which gave him a solid TQ position.
