Stick It1 Series Stock Rd3 – Report

Round 3 of the Stick It1 Series Stock was held at PDX Underground in Portland, Oregon this week. In the 17.5T Buggy class the race for the top 3 spots was on between Joseph Johnson, Kevin Focht and Cole Hegar. Ultimately it was Joseph with the win from Kevin and Cole.

MOD 5th & 8th Championship Series – Report

Delta RC Raceway & Hobby Shop in Antioch, California hosted a round of the MOD 5th & 8th Championship Series last weekend, attracting over 80 entries in total. In 4WD Truck Pro it was MOD’s own Matt Olson with the win in the 25-minute A-main event, leaving behind Rick Christian in 2nd some two laps down. Daniel Fry came in 3rd, top qualifier Brian Sullivan had to settle for 4th overall.

Kevin Siller wins E-Truggy class at Chain Breaker race

Spirit Controlled RC Racing in Girard, Pennsylvania held the Chain Breaker race last weekend, attracting 70 entries. In the Electric Truggy class it was Binh Quan with the overall TQ from Kevin Siller in 2nd, the latter however would in turn come out on top in the single 8-minute A-main event, leaving behind Binh in 2nd, some 7.7 seconds behind. 5th place qualifier, Clinton Kryger would round out the all-Mugen top 3 a lap back.

XRS Race Camp 2020 – Announcement

The XRS Race Camp 2020 will be held from the 20th to 26th of July at Latina RC Racing near Wolstyn in the Western part of Poland. The main focus of this one-of-a-kind event is to increase the RC knowledge and skills of the participants with Xray’s Italian off-road frontrunner, Marco Baruffolo being one of the camp’s instructors. The event will see the running of several 1/8th off-road wrenching, setup, and driving style workshops, as well as a good amount of socialising and a race event on Saturday and Sunday to round out the week. Caldwell & Henn successful at HARC Series Rd7

Mike’s Gulf Coast Raceway of Porter, Texas hosted round 7 of the HARC Series last weekend, attracting over 90 entries for the three 1/8th off-road classes of Open E-Buggy, Sportsman E-Buggy and Open Electric/Nitro Truggy. In Open E-Buggy it was Dillon Caldwell (HB Racing) with the overall TQ from HB Racing teammate, Brian Henn on the runner-up spot. The two would also battle it out in the double A-mains with Dillon scoring a 2nd place and a win for the overall while Brian had to settle for 2nd overall after coming in in 1st and 3rd. Brian Germany (Serpent) completed the top 3 in front of Moe Agha and Brent Jackson.

Bartek Kramza trifecta at TRCA Offroad Series opener

Round 1 of the TRCA Offroad Series was held at the newly established Titan RC Arena in Warszawa, Poland last weekend. The event saw the running of Modified and Stock Buggy classes as well as Truck Pro and Mini categories and in 2WD Mod Buggy it was Bartek Kramza (Xray) with the overall TQ from Jeremiasz Kramza (Schumacher) in 2nd. A1 and A2 then again went in Bartek’s favour as he brought home the win in both legs to take the overall from Jeremiasz in 2nd. Marcin Czech (Schumacher) came in 3rd to round out the podium.

Brent Sianez doubles at US Turf Wars

RC Madness of Enfield, Connecticut hosted the US Turf Wars last weekend, attracting over 100 entries for the 1/10th off-road modified and stock classes. In 2WD Modified Buggy it was Keith Smart with the overall TQ, however the single 5-minute A-main event saw Brent Sianez taking the winning honours, leaving behind 4th place qualifier, Tyler Marcy in 2nd. Keith Smart had to settle for 3rd overall.

Vishal Singh wins at Heart of America Series Rd2

The second round of the Heart of America Series was held in Lincoln, Nebraska last weekend. In 1/8th GT it was Mugen’s Vishal Singh with the overall TQ and he also walked away with the silverware after the 20-minute A-main event, leaving behind 4th place qualifier, Patrick Werner (Xray) in 2nd, some two laps behind. In 3rd it was Ken McKenny (Serpent) who would round out the top 3 result.
