Burak Kilic TQs & wins at Elektro Cup Nord season opener

The opening round of the German Elektro Cup Nord series was held at the Modellsport Münsterland track in Nörstel, North Rhine-Westfalia this past weekend. The Mugen duo of Burak and Berkan Kilic battled to out for the overall win with the better end for top qualifier Burak, who brought home the wins in A1 and A2 of the 1/8th E-Buggy class while Berkan cemented his runner-up spot with a win in A3. SWorkz’s Sophie Müller came in 3rd overall.

Harker wins StickIt1Racing Modified Off-road Series Rd3

Round 3 of the StickIt1Racing.com Modified Off-road Series was held at PDX Underground in Portland, Oregon. In the single 2WD Modified Buggy class it was Yokomo’s Travis Harker with the overall win from Team Associated driver, Ryan Reavis in 2nd. Cole Hegar came in 3rd overall.

Elias Johansson wins at Procircuit Challenge

The Swedish Botkyrka club hosted the Procircuit Challenge this past weekend. Serpent’s Pontus Larsson took the overall TQ in the 1/8th Nitro Buggy class after winning three of the four qualifying rounds while HB Racing’s Elias Johansson, who won a single qualifying round, came in 2nd overall. The 45-minute A-main event then saw Elias taking the win with a 2-lap margin while top qualifier Pontus came in dead last following a DNF. Team Associated driver Nils Gustafsson came in 2nd overall, some 30 seconds in front of Felix Angseryd (Xray).

Thayer & Gonzales successful at JBRL Electric Series Rd4

The fourth round of the JBRL Electric Series was held at OCRC Raceway in Huntington Beach, California this past weekend with 115 drivers in attendance. In 13.5T Expert 4WD Buggy it was 3rd place qualifier, Yokomo’s Jake Thayer with the win from top qualifier, Matthew Williby (TLR) in 2nd. A lap behind Kamryn Ayers rounded out the top 3 result.

Goff & Prickett win at Carpet Wars Rd2

Beachline Raceway of Cocoa, Florida hosted the second round of the Carpet Wars series this past weekend, attracting 66 entries for the Modified and Stock 1/10th scale off-road classes. Yokomo USA team driver Kai Goff took the TQ and win in the premier 2WD Modified Buggy class from privateer Tyler Rimes, finishing 2nd overall with his Yokomo. Kyle Paquette (Team Associated) came in 3rd to round out the podium result. Over in 40+ Open 2WD Buggy it was John Prickett with the overall TQ and win, some 3.2 seconds in front of David Davis on the runner-up spot. Doggie Lee came in 3rd overall, some further 9.3 seconds back. 13.5T Stadium Truck saw again John Prickett with the overall TQ and win, a lap in front of Joey Fisher. Shaun Kart came in 3rd overall.

Mauritian Electric On-road Champs Rd2 – Report

The second round of the Mauritian Electric On-road Championship was held this past weekend, the first racing action for the drivers since three month due to the ongoing world-wide Corona pandemic. In the 1/10th Boosted Touring class it was Jovanni Appasamy with the overall win from Vansh Anjaheb on the runner-up spot. Christophe Cazin came in 3rd to round out the top 3 result.

Stick It1 Series Stock Rd3 – Report

Round 3 of the Stick It1 Series Stock was held at PDX Underground in Portland, Oregon this week. In the 17.5T Buggy class the race for the top 3 spots was on between Joseph Johnson, Kevin Focht and Cole Hegar. Ultimately it was Joseph with the win from Kevin and Cole.

MOD 5th & 8th Championship Series – Report

Delta RC Raceway & Hobby Shop in Antioch, California hosted a round of the MOD 5th & 8th Championship Series last weekend, attracting over 80 entries in total. In 4WD Truck Pro it was MOD’s own Matt Olson with the win in the 25-minute A-main event, leaving behind Rick Christian in 2nd some two laps down. Daniel Fry came in 3rd, top qualifier Brian Sullivan had to settle for 4th overall.
