Cole Kasten wins at 8th Annual Toys For Tots

Warehouse Hobby Raceway of Helena, Alabama hosted their 8th Annual Toys For Tots race this past weekend, attracting over 100 entries. In the premier 1/8th Nitro Buggy class it was Cole Kasten (Soar Seiki) with the overall TQ and he also came out on top after the 20-minute A-main event from 6th place qualifier, Team Associated’s Jeremy Reid in 2nd, who ended the race some six laps behind Cole. JQRacing’s Kody Watson was able to retain his qualifying position and completed the top 3 result some 2.8 seconds behind Jeremy.

Allan O’Brien TQs & wins at NEAM Winter Series Rd3

Round 3 of the popular NEAM Winter Series was held this past weekend and in the 4WD Buggy class it was Allan O’Brien with the overall TQ. The single A-main event then saw Allan again leading the way, taking the win a narrow 0.4s in front of Edward Callan in 2nd as Greg Williams rounded out the top 3 results.

Bryce Butterfield doubles at Race For Kids event

Steel City RC Raceway of Fontana, California held the Steel City Race For Kids event last weekend. The race saw the running of several on-road classes and in 1/8th Open it was Xray’s Bryce Butterfield with the overall TQ and he also came out on top after the 15-minute A-main event, leaving behind 4th place qualifier, Kevin Cole (Mugen) in 2nd and 5th place qualifier, Josh Alton in 3rd.

10th Annual Charity Race – Announcement

The tenth edition of the popular Charity Race will be held at the RC Landia indoor carpet track in Scandiano, Italy on the weekend of the 25th and 26th of January 2020. The race will see the running of Touring Modified, Touring Stock EFRA, Formula, 1/12th Pan Car and the newly added classes of USGT, GT12 and FWD. Beside the fastest Italian electric on-road racers, European Pro drivers such as Ronald Völker have announced their attendance. Due to the limited pit space the entries are capped off at 120 drivers with the first Pro drivers having already signed up. The race will be held on CRC carpet using Volante ETS tyres for the touring cars and formula classes, Ride ETS tyres for USGT and FWD and Contact handout tyres for GT12. Like the years before, Team La Gang will hold a charity lottery for the good cause. Max Götzl doubles at XRS Slovakia Rd3

The 3rd round of Xray Racing Series Slovakia was held at the Hudy Racing Arena in Trencin, Slovakia this past weekend. The event kicked off with free practice on Friday with three qualifiers and triple mains being held on Saturday. In 2WD Modified Buggy it was Max Götzl with the TQ in round 1 in front of Martin Bayer and Antonia Kovalzski while in round 2 it was Matus Benetin and Antonia Kovalzski in 2nd and 3rd respectively while Max scored another TQ. Martin Bayer would strike back in Q3 with a 0.9 seconds faster time which handed him the overall TQ from Max in 2nd and Ales Bidovsky in 3rd.

Sergio Suarez takes Peruvian regional title

Round 9 of the Peruvian Lima regional championship was held recently and it was Sergio Suarez with the overall Nitro Buggy TQ and pole position for the 45-minute A-main event. Sergio lead from the start, however after about 15 minutes he hit some problems and eventually finished 2nd behind Fabrizio Martello as Juan Alvarado came in 3rd to round out the podium.

Park Sung-Kwang takes KMRCA 13.5T 4WD title

The Icheon Raceway of South Korea held the KMRCA 1/10th Buggy Nationals this past weekend. In 13.5T Stock Buggy and after some exciting battles it was Park Sung-Kwang with the overall title from Lee Jae-Myung on the runner-up spot. Kim Jae-Won would round out the top 3 result.

Nagashima, Huang & Shum to attend OneTen Shanghai

OneTen Series organisers are excited to announce more big names for the 5th and 6th round of this season which takes place in Shanghai on the 4th and 5th of January. Having previously announced Marc Rheinard and JJ Wang, we can confirm that Serpent racer Yugo Nagashima, who made his series debut at Rd3 & 4 in Guangzhou, will return to RCI V2, the scene of his popular AOC win back in April. National Champion, and recent winner of the SIGP Nitro class, Gary Huang will be aiming to continue his recent run of good results with the Chinese driver hoping to benefit from being joined at this event by Xray team mate Wang. Making the trip from Hong Kong, showing a recent improvement in form, Jackie Shum will boost the Yokomo team’s chances against the best in the OneTen series, which for this weekend will run alongside the exciting new SGP1 Formula series.
