With traction having to build over the course of the weekend, it proved drivers to be adaptive. Spec tires played an interesting role in helping drivers gain more traction throughout the weekend. The Sweep Racing QTS32 “True Blue” was the TC Spec tire of choice, whilst the GravityRC “White Stripe” was used in the 1/12 spec classes, both were more than capable of keeping the field nice and close in all grip conditions. With results available via live timing all weekend, racers and spectators were able to follow along in the pits on one of the many TVs and projectors available, or simply on their phone or computer. Racing wise and in the premier Touring Modified class it was Team Associated driver, Wayne Mah with the TQ and win from Awesomatix driver, Ryan Betty as Sammy Lee rounded out the top 3 result.
