Juan Hidalgo successful at Spanish 200mm Nationals

The Spanish 1/10th 200mm Nitro Touring Nationals were held at the Asoger track in Madrid in very hot weather conditions. The high temperatures and prepped track made for a lot of grip changes with Capricorn’s Victor Pelaez making the best out of the conditions as he took the overall TQ and pole position for the main final. Superpole winner Juan Hidalgo (Serpent) also scored a direct entry for the main while all other had to go through the sub finals. In the main final and after a good start Victor was out in front with Juan in 2nd and Sergi Franch and Jonnhy Pastor fighting for the 3rd spot. Later Juan was able to get past Victor in an amazing manoeuvre and from that moment on he never looked back. Unfortunately Victor suffered an engine problem later on making way fro Sergi Franch (Mugen) in 2nd and Jonnhy Pastor (Mugen) 3rd.
