Chicha Rioja takes SNS Stock Touring title

Chicha Rioja takes SNS Stock Touring title

The final round of the Spanish National Series was held at the Club 10 club in Barakaldo. The tight and technical track with high grip made for excellent racing conditions and the event saw local driver Chicha Rioja taking the pole position for the Stock Touring A-mains from Tony Mur and Hugo Misa. The opening A-main was a bit of a drama for the TQ holder as he got hit from behind which resulted in a body tuck and an 8th place finish. Chicha would come back in form in A2 and A3 though, taking dominant wins to grab the day’s win from Tony Mur and Yeray Martinez. With the victory at the final round Chicha also secured himself the overall title from Rafael Ortiz and Tony Mur.
