Revolution Design RC8B4 Alu Differential Case Set

New from Germany’s Revolution Design Racing Products comes this Aluminium Differential Case Set as an upgrade for Team Associated RC8B4 and RC8B4.1 1:8 Buggy platforms.  Compared to the stock plastic differential case, this version is made from high-quality 7075-T6 aluminium, offering significantly better performance and durability.  With a larger oil volume and integrated cooling fins, this aluminium differential case ensures improved cooling of the silicone oil, providing more consistent differential performance throughout the entire run. The choice of material, combined with hard anodising, guarantees long-lasting durability, even under the most demanding race conditions.

Koswork 12mm Big Bore Shock Set

Koswork has released new 12mm Big Bore Shock Set intended as direct replacement & upgrades of 1:10 Buggies from Kyosho, Tamiya, Yokomo and Team Associated.  Offering better bump handling, more traction and consistent performance, the sets are available in three different colour combinations – gold,  the polished inner shock body provides slick & friction free performance with the CNC machined 12mm pistons, made of self-lubricating material.  Ti-Nitride coating on the shock shafts ensures long life and smooth action.  Aluminium shock caps give durability and consistency while the aluminium shock collars & bottom caps have knurled portion for increased grip.

Hotrace V1 Carpet 1:10 Offroad tyres

Italian tyre manufacturer Hotrace has released a new carpet offroad tyre which it is calling the V1 Carpet.   The rear pin tyre is designed to be used in all type of different carpet surfaces, both US style or European style.  Based on a low-profile carcass, the low stance provides quick transition at high-speed and minimises side-wall deflection and roll.  The tightness gives forward traction and the alternating rows of pins provides side-bite.  The arrangement of the pins promotes good wear characteristics and traction longevity.  The V1 Carpet is available tyre only or with Hotraces’s own open cell insert.  The rear and 2WD front tyre is offered in Soft, Soft/Medium, Medium, and Hard compounds and fits to popular wheels available on the market.

Xray XB2 Medium Composite LSM Front Lower Arms

Continuing with its roll out of composite parts for their XB2 1:10 Buggy, Xray has released these Medium Composite LSM Front Lower Suspension Arms.  Suggested for low traction tracks, the reliable medium hardness material significantly improves reliability and the strength reduces crash related failures.  The third compund option offer, the different hardness arms provide additional turning options.

Team Associated RC10 2025 Metallic Edition Kit

Team Associated continue the roll out of special editions of its RC10 with the release of yet another ‘colour’ option of the iconic 1:10 2WD buggy.  The story behind the RC10 2025 Metallic Edition Kit goes that ‘on December 5th, 1984 the All-American designed Team Associated RC10 was introduced to the RC world. Being the first to take home the gold in both the ROAR National and IFMAR 2WD World Championships, the RC10 secured its place as a legend in RC car history. This year (2025) marks the 41st anniversary of the RC10 and we are proud to offer this special limited 2025 Metallic Edition kit. Staying true to the original, this anniversary kit features the same race car technology introduced in the 80s.’

Lemieux wins Motorama

Run as part of the largest all indoor racing and live motorsport shows in the US, Chase Lemieux came out the main winner at the annual Motorama event held at the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex.  With the now electric class only event attracting over 300 entries, in 1:8 eBuggy it was the Xray of Lemiuex that secured the TQ on tie break as he and Tekno’s Ryan Maifield each topped two of the four qualifiers.  Behind them Mugen Seiki’s Adam Drake completed the Top 3 ahead Team Associated’s Lee Setser.  In the triple 5-minute Mains, Lemieux took the opening two encounters with a comfortable margin to claim the overall victory.  Winning A3 ahead of Drake, Setser would claim the runner-up spot with the podium being completed by the Xray of Ethan Mackanick as Maifield and Drake finished 5th and 6th respectively.  In Expert Truggy it was last year’s buggy winner Ryan Lutz who took the TQ but winning the opening two A-Main encounters No.2 qualifier Spencer Heckert took the win ahead of 2024 winner Maifield with Joey Bourdon claiming third overall.

Zalewski & Hall win at British Off Road Grand Prix

Xray’s Bartek Zalewski and Team Associated’s Tommy Hall took the big wins at this year’s British Off Road Grand Prix.  Organised by the British Radio Car Association, the annual 1:10 carpet track event takes place in the Centre:MK shopping centre in Milton Keynes and attracts a strong international field including reigning 4WD World Champion Davide Ongaro.  Showcasing RC Racing in front of weekend shoppers, the event kicked off with 2WD action and it was Hall who secured the overall TQ as he topped 3 of the five rounds.  Behind him the Schumacher of Ben Smith took the No.2 spot on tie-break with last weekend’s MIBO International 2WD Champion Zalewski.   In the finals, it was the Team Associated of Marcus Kaerup who took A1 after a hectic start before Hall came back with a dominant A2 victory.  With four in with a chance of the overall win going into A3, it was Hall who delivered despite some serious attention from Zalewski.  In the end it was Kaerup who claimed the runner-up spot with Zalewski completing the podium.  On to 4WD, last year’s winner Bruno Coelho not in a attendance, and it was Zalewski who secured the TQ as things went down to the final qualifier, the Polish teenager taking it to secure pole ahead of Ongaro and Kaerup.  After winning A1, an error from Zalewski in A2 allowed Ongaro through for the win but in the finale he made amends staying out front to secure the overall win the overall with Ongaro and Kaerup joining him on the podium.
