Round 4 of the Tonisport Onroad Series North Division was held at the RCCT-Münden track in Hannoversch-Münden this past weekend, attracting over 40 entries. In Touring Modified it was Sören Sparbier with the overall TQ from Enrico Jung and Lars Hoppe. The triple A-mains again saw Sören excel as Lars was able to bring home the runner-up spot. Enrico had to settle for 3rd overall. Over in the 13.5T Touring Stock class it was Lars Hoppe with the overall TQ tie on points with Kevin Sparbier and Thomas Oehler, however the latter two had to settle for 2nd and 3rd…

…spot. Dylan Liseo came in 3rd overall. The VTA class had Scott Meeks coming out win top some 4.5 seconds in front of Ralph Boy. Steve Pendergraph completed the top 3. In Formula 25.5T Anthony Schimizzi took the win from top qualifier, Sean Wager in 2nd was Michael Bruce came in 3rd to round out the podium. Last but not least and in the GT12 class it was Shad Galante with the win, coming from the 3 spot on the grid, with Ken Moss and Jesus Diaz in 2nd and 3rd respectively. The result is a smoother and more flowing car, especially when running higher or high bite tyres. In addition, the shock tower is 1mm lower which makes for easier ride height adjustment. Last but not least comes an updated rear shock tower that features a grid for the rear body mounts which allows for easier body height adjustments. Coming from Team Associated and made for the all B6 series kits, the B74, T6.1, SC6.1, and B64 1/10th scale off-road vehicles are the new 1/0.5 arm mount inserts. Moulded in black plastic and coming with eight per package, they help to try new settings not previously available with the current inserts. The 1/0.5 inserts help fill in the blanks and give a 0.5 step option where pilots previously only could adjust things in 1.0 steps, 1.0-up or 1.0-corner, filling out the finer settings on the outer perimeter of our current adjustment grid. Round 1 of the 2020 Texas Electric On Road Series was held at Mike’s Gulf Coast RC Raceway in Porter, Texas last weekend. Eventual winner, Chris Adam pulled away early from the pack in the Modified Touring class to cruise for the win as Andrew Doherty defended for his very life for the entire race from Michael Toth, who perhaps was slightly faster, but simply could not find a way around Andrew. The Banana RC Track in Batam City, Indonesia held round 1 of the Indonesia Buggy Nationals this past weekend. A total of 24 drivers from Jakarta, Medan, Banjarmasin as well as local drivers attended the event whose schedule saw six rounds of 10-minute qualifying with the best four to count. Ultimately it was Jason Nugroho (HB Racing/Ninja) with the TQ honours, but he suffered a flame out in his semifinal and finished in 2nd place only. …in the third round, with Sam second, Tony taking his ARC back to third, and the top five completed by Marcus and then Ashley (Awesomatix). Florian secured pole with a Q4 best time, ahead of Sam once again. Dani took another great third place, with Tony fourth and Ashley again fifth in round. The A-final featured a five-minute battle between our top two qualifiers as they raced nose to tail and side by side for the duration. New from JConcepts is the F2I rear wing for 1/8th scale off-road buggies and trucks. F2I relates to Finnisher related items morphing into a 2nd generation and this new wing fits the bill perfectly. Adding the “I” relates to it being IFMAR competition legal in terms of its side-dams being large enough to comply with rules and procedure on the world-wide racing scene.
