Xray X1 Ball Differential Set

Xray has released a complete ball differential set for their X1 1:10 Formula chassis.   It is a direct replacement for the gear differential with no other extra parts needed and no extra adjustments.  Using the ball differential makes the car more stable and easier to drive, especially in very low grip conditions such as asphalt or low grip carpet.  The ball diff increases on-power steering which is needed on almost all types of tracks.

Infinity IF18-3 Option Parts

Infinity has introduced another batch of new optional parts they have developed for their World Championship winning IF18-3 1:8 Onroad chassis.  The chassis gets two new carbon chassis stiffeners. The front stiffener mounts on the front part of the main chassis to improve steering response and increase rigidity.  The rear stiffener mounts on the rear portion of the main chassis allows for fine tuning by increasing rigidity.  A new longer rear universal swing shaft is for use with widened rear track width or high grip conditions with the shaft 56mm compared to the  54mm version.  Also new is a 3x5x14mm Post Set that connects the brake mount L/R to the rear lower bulk increasing the rigidity of the rear area and improving rear grip.  Another new part for that area of the car is new carbon main shaft stiffener that increases the rigidity of the rear area by connecting the L/R brake mounts.  Finally on the list of option parts, Infinity has a range of new 0.8 module spur 1st gears designed for high precision, high strength, and high durability.  Gear specifications have been redesigned to provide uniform backlash for all tooth number combinations.  The tooth width of the 2nd gear spur gear has been increased by approximately 12% to achieve even higher strength and durability.  These cannot be used in combination with conventional 0.8 module spur gears.
