2015 SiKCross – Announcement

Announcing the first annual SiKCross brought to you by SiK Track Designs from October 24th to 25th. Hosted at Pro-line’s test facility located in Banning, Ca. Levi Jackson is promising to bring supercross to RC with a brand new event, totally different than any other format in Rc. Practice, seeding, qualifying supercross style with side by side, heads up racing. There will $1,000 up for grabs if a driver is SiK enough to win both Pro Buggy and Truck and there will also be a ton of prizes from their event sponsors. More information can be found here….

1st Annual Outdoor Turf Nationals – Announcement

Lee Martin doubles at BRCA 1/10th Buggy Nats Rd5

Round five of the BRCA 1/18th Buggy National Championship was held at Titchfield Off Road Club Hampshire this past weekend. The new track layout was long and very fast and with the incorporated jump sections, certainly another different great test for the competitors. The weekend started off with 2WD on Saturday and it was Neil Cragg who put his Team Associated buggy on pole position for the triple A-finals. ROAR 1/8th Electric Offroad & 1/10th SC Nats – Report

The 2015 ROAR 1/10 4×4 SC and 1/8 Electric Offroad Nationals were held this past weekend at Lost Creek R/C Raceway in Oakland Mills, Pennsylvania. This year’s track at LCRC would put every manufacturer’s electronics to the extreme test with a very hi-speed layout and hot/humid temperatures while the event would record its largest entry count in history reaching an impressive 211!. Mon-Tech X1 SSS floating servo & steering system

Italian company Mon-Tech have introduced a special servo and steering mount for the Xray X1. The option part, called SSS which is for “servo, steering, suspension” is meant to allow better steering response, faster cornering and improved bump handling. Made from aluminium the brace takes both the steering servo and the steering bellcrank to connect them with the front part of the chassis using the upper camber and castor plate rather then attaching them to the main chassis plate, to create a “floating” design. Tobias Kerler joins ARC

…the outstanding car and the decision was easy. During construction of the R8.0 I saw that the power train is very smooth and due to the very good quality the building structure was quite simple. In the first test I reached already the times like with my Serpent. In my first race, the 2. LCT run in Rötz, I could undercut my time to 1/10[th of a second]. Martin Wollanka teams up with LRP

LRP have announced the signing of 2014 Vice European Champion Martin Wollanka to their electric off-road team. The Austrian frontrunner will use LRP motors, controllers and batteries in his 1/8th and 1/10th scale buggies from now on and he has the following to say about the deal: Right from the first test I was impressed by the feeling and power.
