All three of our drivers (Cavalieri, Cragg and McBride) were very competitive and in the main event, so as a company it was a great showing for our prototype car. With Cavalieri’s string of second places at the IFMAR Worlds, Nitro Challenge and Silver State the vehicle has proven its pace. With Spencer Rivkin and Tanner Denney getting limited testing leading up to the Dirt Nitro Challenge, they were very competitive….

Italian company WRC will soon have a new 1/10th Formula body and new tyres and wheels available. Little is known about the new parts beside what can be seen in the image but the body looks pretty 2015-ish with its low and channelled nose design while the tyres seem to make use of a lower profile tyre wall and larger diameter rims, resembling Pirelli’s 2014 18 inch test wheels. …to the race, on Sunday morning the track was still wet due to overnight rain and some of the drivers helped to get most of the puddles out of the way to allow the qualifiers to get underway. Japanese company GForce introduce the Multi Warming System for Mini-Z-sized mini and micro cars. The system consists of a compact main unit with LC display and a dial for the menu operation and it is powered by 11 to 18VDC input. The included set of alloy cups for the tyres offers individual temperature sensors and 26.4mm reducers to adapt the system to a range of tyre diameters. Ielasi tuned and Fun & Drive have announced that Serpent driver Tobias Kerler will be using the Ielasi tuned Fun & Drive Edition engines this season. The young and talented driver will compete at all ENS rounds as well as the European Championship A in Ettlingen as well as some local races and the German Masters in Türkheim. …well as it did with soft tires. As I was personally disappointed, we decided to stay with Juraj at the Euros track for few days for private testing. We worked extremely hard, we drilled a lot, cut a lot, dremeled even more, and we baked ourselves in the hot sun. After extensive work and testing dozens of different combinations, we were able to get the performance of the car to the same top laptimes from the Euros. Novarossi introduce the Rex Legend.28-8 8-port truggy and monster truck nitro engine. The short stroke engine is based on the previously announced Legend.28 and it offers a newly designed liner for improved performance and RPM. The engine features a 14mm turbo crankshaft, 9mm composite carburettor and steel ball bearings with a ceramic bearing version also being available. The 4.66cc engine is coming in a standard, recoil pull starter and rotostart version to make it usable for a range of applications including RTR monster trucks.
