In the 4WD Buggy class it was again Clement with the overall TQ after winning all four qualifying rounds as Malcom Roquet and Senne Pauwels ended tie on points for P2 on the grid. A1 then saw Clement walking away with the win while A2 was a different affair with Senne taking the win while Clement only scored an 8th place finish. The 2020 edition of the popular DHI-Cup was hosted by the Odense RC Minirace team this past weekend. The race was held in Touring Modified, Touring Super Stock, Front Wheel Drive and Formula classes and it attracted many of Europe’s fast electric on-road racers. In the Touring Modified class, Patrick Hornum took the overall TQ and he also took a commanding win in leg 1 of the A-mains and although having a few problems with traffic in leg 2, Hornum also managed to win the second A-main for an early overall title. Yugo Nagashima is the top qualifier for the 5th round of the OneTen series presented by Infinity. The Serpent driver wrapped up the top qualifying spot with his second round TQ in Q2 but only took 2nd in the 3rd and final 6 minute qualifier. The 3rd round of qualifying went to his Serpent team mate Rocket Zhang who as a result will now line up in 2nd on the grid for this afternoon’s triple 4-minute mains. The 6th and final round of the 2019 Urban Astro Buggy Championship was held at Urban RC in downtown Singapore this past weekend. The round saw plenty of exciting races, and more importantly, another opportunity for Singapore’s off-road enthusiasts to get together to share a fun day on the roof at Urban RC. Round 3 of the Rockstar Winter Off-road Series was held at PDX RC Underground in Portland, Oregon this past Saturday, attracting nearly 60 entries. The Modified 2WD Buggy class saw Andy DiBrino taking the overall TQ and also the wins in A1 and A2 of the triple A-main events, leaving behind Joe Pillars in 2nd and Ryan Reavis in 3rd.
