Active Hobby introduce a reversible rear arm mount for the Tamiya TT-02 Type-S 4WD touring car. Machined from aluminium the part allows for degree and 1.5 degree toe-in settings of the rear lower A-arms by simply flipping the part around. In combination with the standard or optional rear hubs overall toe angles of up to 4 degree in 0.5 degree increments can be achieved to fine-tune the suspension setting. …Championships have their Stage 1 report ready for download. Following the recent final announcement regarding the track surface – World Championship tracks are now allowed to have a 100 percent astro turf surface – it is now also clear that the track will be fully purpose build on the Yatabe Arena’s on-road grand prix track, leaving the usual off-road track untouched to guarantee equal conditions for Japanese and foreign drives alike. Round 2 of the Winter Indoor National Series has seen an unexpected rise of the young, fast, and talented racers like Nick Gibson. The Team Associated/JConcepts driver had a near flawless run with just two minor incidents with traffic, but was able to climb his way to the front and put in the fastest time of the round with a 19 lap 5:08.35. The fourth and penultimate round of the popular Essex Winter Series championship took place this weekend on the large carpet circuit in the South-East of the UK. With the International Carpet Challenge taking place at the venue next month, a few drivers were not only using the meeting to hunt for EWS glory, but also to test ahead of the upcoming event.
