Smart-Workshop ‘Shock Mate’ Vacuum Pump

Smart-Workshop has announced its newest product the ‘Shock Mate’ Vacuum pump has just hit the market. Shock Mate is a handy, compact electric-powered vacuum pump for shock absorbers and differential, developed to quickly & easily bleed unwanted air bubbles from oil-filled shock absorbers and differentials. Electrically operated with automatic suction level and timing control, simple operation by build-in battery or DC 5V Type C power cord. May also be used as 1/8,1/10 and1/12 tire additive penetrator to help penetrate additive in the small pores of the foam tire. A well penetrated tire works better and lasts longer. The shock holder plate features 19mm (differentials), 20mm (1:8 Offroad), 15.6mm (1:10 On/Offroad) holes for the shock absorbers and 14.8mm hole for differentials. The three different heights Vacuum Pump Post can be combined into five different support heights for those holder plate. Comes in a soft case and Silicone vacuum tube protector for safe storage & transport.

1st Trofeo Nuova Games Segrate – Report

The first Nuova Games Segrate Trophy race was held recently at the NGS track in Segrate, Italy. Scheduled to be a two days race, the forecast showed heavy rains on Sunday so the timetable was adapted so that everything got done on Saturday, sadly not all drivers were able to make it with the club thankful to all the those that were able to make it for the revised schedule. The race had an important purpose, beyond just keeping racers entertained there was also a charity element. The race was able to raise €800 through entry fees which was donated to “Fraternità di Misericordia Segrate”. On track maybe it the best race of the entire Summer season at the track which has catered for racers from Milan and Lombardy for years now! All classes gave a show of the highest level, fought fairly and with stratospheric times.

More new aftermarket parts from T-Works for Infinity’s IFB8 1:8 Buggy with the release of Hard Coated Aluminium Front/Rear Axle Shafts and a carbon fibre Upper Plate. The Axle Shaft are made of high quality 7075-T6 aluminium alloy and hard anodised to provide high strength, light weight, and high transmission efficiency and durability. Each axle is approximately 4.9g lighter than the original factory axles. Also making the buggy ligther is the Lightweight carbon fibre material Upper Plate which is fitted on the front of the buggy, better protecting the front structure and improving driving performance.

The kit includes (2) 3×23 and (2) 3×27.5 Avid Chrome Shock Shafts, (12) Avid Machined Shock Spacers, (8) Avid X-Rings, and (1) Avid Slop Oring Grease. Schumacher’s Collina wins 2024 Italian TC C/ship – Report

Schumacher’s Mattia Collina is the undisputed ACI Italian Champion of Modified Touring Car. It was an emotional weekend at the 2024 Italian Touring Car Championship, held at the Road Race Riccione track where drivers gave it their all, fighting with determination to win the class titles after passing the qualifying stages for the 2024 Championship in the Divisional Italian Cup races held between April and July. At the end of an intense weekend that saw robust attendance and impeccable organisation by the Road Race staff, the fate of the 2024 title was already decided in the qualifying sessions on Saturday afternoon and Sunday morning. The drivers who secured Pole Position for the Sunday afternoon finals in fact confirmed their superiority with solid performances in the three final rounds.

LC Racing BHC-1 1:14 2WD Buggy LWB Chassis & Body

1:14 specialist offroad kits producer LC Racing has released a new long wheel base optional aluminium chassis for its popular 1:14 2WD BHC-1 Buggy. With the upgrade to the longer wheel base chassis ideal for outdoor and/or low traction dirt/astro turf/carpet tracks, they have also released a revised longer body shell to go with the LWB Chassis. The chassis comes complete with side rail extenders.

1:10 Offroad World Champions limited edition poster

To commemorate the anniversary of the hosting of the 2023 IFMAR 1:10 Electric Offroad World Championships, StickitOne are releasing a limited edition poster of the Champions Wall that was featured during the event at Hobby Action RC Raceway. Having covered this event, Red RC is delighted to have been able to supply some of the images used on the wall and now the poster. 200 individually numbered 24×36″ prints featuring all past 1:10 Electric Offroad World Champions will be available, starting Wednesday September 25th at 12:00PM EST. $25 from each poster sold will be donated to the Crohn’s & Colitis Foundation (Arizona Chapter) in honour of 2-time World Champion Brian Kinwald. Pricing (shipping included) will be $89.99 each for US Orders and $109.99 each for International Orders. Posters will be distributed sequentially based upon the order in which they are purchased and are scheduled to begin shipping the first week of October. Reds Racing has just announced its 721 Superveloce PRO-X Factory Team Limited Edition 1:8 Buggy engine. The latest power unit comes with the same technical specifications used by their team during 2024 with the decision to release the special limited edition engine coming as a way to celebrate their our successes this season. These include securing the TQ and finishing 2nd & 3rd on the podium at 1:8 Offroad World Championship at Redovan, the TQ & Win at the European Championship, victory at the Dirt Nitro Challenge, Silverstate and Italian Race amongst others. Technically the engine features an Ultra Tuned Crankshaft and sleeve by Mario Rossi. This special tuning to the crankshaft increasing engine power noticeably and guaranteeing great fuel mileage at the same time. The crankshaft is re-balanced by hand to ensure reduced vibration at high speeds. The engine comes with their revolutionary RTX Rotating Backplate that aims to increase engine power and improve stability at idle speed thanks to a drastic reduction in friction between the connecting rod and backplate. The engine also gets High protection Double seal front bearing for increased durability and idle stability, REDS 9 balls rear ceramic bearing for increased durability and reliability, a new cooling head design. It also comes with an 8.0 venturi for increase power and easy tuning.
