…especially because the engine’s performance & reliability play a very important role in any successful race. Despite FX are all new in the nitro engine industry I know Juraj and his dedication for an absolute perfection and I was very interested to test the new 5K engine. To my huge surprise the engines have been extremely reliable and have unbelievable power but are smooth at the same time. 2010 IFMAR 1/8 Off-Road World Champion Cody King has announced that he has made the move from U.S. online hobby giant A Main Hobbies to the up and coming online hobby store Absolute Hobbyz. While Thailand and Bangkok downtown citizens were the middle of the large protests for democracy, in its suburbs there was still RC racing going on. The Huge RC track and its manager Surikarn kept its door open to host the Ride Cup which was organised by Ride founder and proprietor Ohe-san and his staff. It was surely a good test opportunity for the upcoming TITC, and already some of the best racers like Adachi, Groskamp, Hara, Meen, Moore and Surikarn took the chance to sniff the track challenges, with around 100 drivers in various classes enjoying the cool 25°C Winter…

Team Associated’s follow-up model of the long-running B4 buggy is rumoured for some time now and by the looks of things the official presentation is around the corner. Over the weekend AE put a teaser online showing what appears to be a 2WD buggy front end. …JQ finally had a clean run and TQed by a few seconds. Qualifying was based on the fastest time. Things got interesting for the final, as it started to rain. The final started off muddy, with some rain falling, but it stopped raining early on, and the track dried up somewhat during the race.
