O.S. Speed R2104 3.5cc nitro on-road engine

Coming soon from O.S. Engines is the new 3.5cc R2104 competition nitro on-road engine. The 9-port power plant was developed with this year’s IFRMAR 1/8th Nitro On-road World Championship in mind with an updated liner and piston increasing overall torque while the DLC-coated crankshaft offers improved transition between low and high RPM. The engine also sports a new combustion camber insert with a silicone O-ring, adapted from O.S. Engine’s off-road engines, preventing dust and dirt contamination. The R2104 is rounded off with a new design cooling head in a 2-tone black and red finish with white laser-engraved graphics. Beside the single engine O.S. also offers a combo package including the T-2080SC muffler and MR02 manifold.

T-Works electric on/off switch

T-Works have introduced their new electronic on/off switch for nitro vehicles. It replaces the standard mechanical switches for a multifunctional unit that not only is a lot more reliable but it also offers a battery monitor function for LiPi and NiMH receiver battery packs. The switch is usable with 5V to 9V input and up to 8A of current and it installs in the same location as a mechanical switch. Included with the splash-waterproof device is a dust cover ad well as a counter plate and mounting hardware and it comes pre-wired with universal-type connectors.

Darkside Design B74 carbon fibre optionals

Darkside Designs have introduced new carbon fibre option parts for the Team Associated B74 buggy. First up is an O-ring battery hold down that features a carbon fibre battery locator cut from 3mm high-quality carbon fibre. An O-ring battery retainer ensures quick battery swaps and less influence on chassis tweak. Using the hold down system requires cutting the battery strap posts to the low pro location or lower depending on pack thickness.

Tamiya M-08 Concept TRF damper shock tower set

Coming soon from Tamiya is a carbon fibre shock tower set for the M-08 Concept M-chassis kit that allows the use of TRF shock absorbers. The damper stay set includes front and rear shock towers machined from 3mm high-quality carbon fibre that feature a variety of upper shock mounting locations which helps to fine-tune the car’s suspension setup to virtually every track condition. The included mounting hardware is a direct fit with the TRF low-profile touring car shock absorbers.

Hudy’s latest addition to their range of carrying bags is the 1/10th scale racing specific Compact bag. It feature three 465x220x130mm inner compartments, ideal to carry 1/10th scale electric or nitro touring cars as well as accessories, tools, spares and other equipment. Zippers on both ends of the reinforced bag ensure easy access to the internal boxes while rugged rubber feet, reinforced walls and a sturdy yet comfortable handle ensure high durability. The bag is decorated with colourful Hudy graphics and it is available now.

HB Racing D418 universal joint sets

HB Racing have announced the release of new front and rear universal joint sets for the D418 buggy. Precision machined from high strength steel and featuring a reinforced design for durability the universals provide extra drivability on high bite tracks by allowing the suspension to run more freely. Universals also offer improved bumpy track performance and ease of maintenance compared to CVA joints. The driveshafts are sold in pairs for the front and rear.

7075.it T4F aluminium 30mm fan holder

7075.it have announced the release of an aluminium motor fan mount for the Xray T4F FWD touring car. The mount utilises two non-used mounting holes of the motor, ensuring easy, reliable and lightweight fixing of any 30mm fan. Machined from high-quality aluminium and coming black anodised and with laser-etched markings, the mount is also usable with other front-wheel touring cars that use low-CG motor mounts.

Xpress Execute FT1 FWD touring car – Coming soon

The growing front-wheel drive touring car scene is gaining more traction so to speak with Xpress being the latest company to announce the soon release of a FWD touring car kit. The Execute FT1 is currently under development with prototype cars being raced around Asia to finalise the car’s design. For now, and given the blurred-out teaser image, the vehicle seems to utilise the classic front motor design and we bring you more updates on the project as they become available.
