Bezerk 1/12th scale spool pucks

Coming from Bezerk is a set of carbon fibre pucks that help to easily convert a regular 1/12th pan car diff into a spool axle in no time. The carbon fibre pucks will replace standard diff balls for shorty cylinders in order to create a locked spool axle as it is a popular setup option when running in high bite track conditions. The set includes ten pucks with 16-ball spur gears using eight and a twelve-ball main gear taking six pucks. After inserting the pucks, the diff will be built as normal – sans balls and diff lube – with the friction created by the carbon pucks hindering the gear from slipping on the axle. In addition the pucks are also very light of weight with ten pieces weighing in at 0.32g.

RC-Project 1/8th off-road shock standoffs

RC-Project from Italy have announced the release of their all-new shock standoffs for 1/8th off-road buggies. Machined from high-quality 7075-T6 Ergal material the standoff bushings are of a specific design and geometry that greatly improves parts life of bushing and standoff over common designs. In addition a hard-coated surface and teflon treatment reduces friction between the bushing and standoff, allowing for a parts life of about 30 to 35 litres without replacing the standoff or bushing. The standoffs are available as 0 offset or +5 offset variants, separately or as Pro Driver package including Grade 5 6Al4V Titanium rolled thread screws for Team Associated, HB Racing, Mugen and SWorkz kits.

Dutch EP On-road Nats Rd4 win for Florian Joos

The fourth round of the Dutch Electric On-road Nationals was held at the fast and flowing track of the MAC De Baanbrekers club in Rucphen. Saturday was open for free practice, and it was clear right from the start that the race would be a battle between the Awesomatix cars of current championship leader Sidney Blokker, Thomas Buijze and Govert Verbeke and the Xrays of Rick Van den Akker and Florian Joos. Probably thanks to the IFMAR 2020 Worlds, that will be held at MACH Heemstede, the Touring Modified class saw a healthy 14-cars entry. As he is not a regular Dutch nationals participant, Florian Joos had to start in the first of the groups while the title protagonists were seeded in the second and faster group.
