…Drahoslav Hejtmanek. The 4WD buggy class had over 30 drivers at the start. First place went to Czech driver Jiri Mara. The first time with buggy on Mibosport Cup and the second time ever, Zdenko Kunak took second place. Third place went to Yokomo driver Barnabas Toth. The 2WD class saw Jakob Zündel taking TQ but the overall win went to Michal Orlowski in front of Jakob Zündel and Jiri Mara. Thunder R/C hosted the Tennessee Indoor State Championship last weekend to wrap up the R/C year in Nashville, Tenn. The track is small by U.S. indoor standards, but the lay-out was challenging and interesting; a good test for the Championship. X-Factory drivers took home the hardware in Mod Buggy, Mod Truck, and Pro2 Short Course. …Trueruns. After countless test sessions the result is an outstanding performance on the track. Their new wheel will be fluorescent yellow for maximum visibility with the offset on the rear wheels has only changed slightly compared to their old tyre line, while the front wheels will be smaller to increase steering and to allow faster cornering. The rubber donuts are now cut in a special way that improves traction overall which during their test session proved to be an advantage. The new generation of cars will have even more precise geometries and as a result car handling will become even more realistic. The 65th installment in the Xray column from Xray owner and chief designer Juraj Hudy is now online. In this months column, Martin Hudy continues to give us an insight into the track testing that went into their all new T4 touring car. Even though Alex and I continued to test the prototype parts on carpet, the second real test came in March when Alex went to Gran Canaria for the ETS race. I was occupied with some other very important priorities at home so was unable to attend the race, leaving Alex to do all of the testing alone….
