New from 1:12 World Championship winning manufacturer Roche for its Rapide P12V is this Ultra long pod link set. With their latest 1:12 pancar the P12V launched just ahead of the 2023 IFMAR World Championships held in Florida last December, the newest option release improves stability on top speed while also providing more consistent feeling from the entrance to the exit of corner.
Team Powers has announced the upcoming release of its V5S motor for Stock Spec racing. Featuring enhancements based on the Actinium V5 motor, its open core can is designed for good heat dissipation. The Increased size open core stator increases motor delivery power and the motor can machining profiles has a great change from V5 to enhance convection cooling. The collector ring is machined from proprietary alloy resulting in minimal resistance and maximum heat dissipation. Copper wiring purity is increased for minimised resistance and hand wound for maximum accuracy and efficiency. ROAR, EFRA and BRCA approved, the 17.5T is also IFMAR approved for Spec class. The V5S will be available in 13.5T, 17.5T, 21.5T and 25.5T options.

The reigning European 1:10 2WD Champion & 2022 4WD Champion as well as a double finalist on his EP Worlds debut last year, the 16-year-old, who will campaign a Ruddog Racing engines powered Team Associated, will give a daily insight into how his World Championship effort is going. Hong Kong based onroad chassis manufacturer Xpress has released a new range of Barrel Progressive Springs for 1:10 Touring Car. Barrel shaped springs give a progressive spring action without changing the spacing of the spring. This resulting in a more predictable handling car improving lap consistency. Choose between 19 or 20mm widest width, with 19mm being stiffer than 20mm of the same coil number with both available in 5.0, 5.5, 6.0 and 6.5 coils.

Having released its carpet and astro turf track surface developed Alligator 1:10 Buggy tyre as a rear last year, Sweep Racing has now released a front version of the tyre for carpet racing. Designed using the same low profile carcass as the rear tyre, the optimised centre lug pattern and tappered side pins offers the best driving feeling on carpet tracks.

Firmly established as one of the biggest international races on the Electric Touring Car calendar outside of the World Championship, the TITC has announced the date for the 21st running of the Bangkok based spectacle. Taking place at the Infinity RC Addict track, the race is a week early next year with February 20-23 the date when the best drivers in the world battle it out across a number of classes. With the event returning last year after an absence of two years due to Covid, it was Xray’s back to back World Champion Bruno Coelho who took the win to match the record of Atsushi Hara as the legendary race’s most successful Champion. Earlier this year the track was completely resurfaced with work also carried out on the pits to help keep the area cooler for racers in the hot Thailand conditions. MR33, the brand of multiple World Champion Marc Rheinard, has released a new V2 version of its Circle Droop Gauge offering a more precise measurement and adjustment of the droop on your 1:10 Touring Car or FWD. The two small aluminium wheels are screwed onto the wheel axles of your vehicle. The suspension travel is then measured at the lower edge of the aluminium wheels. The measurement is then more accurate because you always measure at the centre of the wheel axle and tolerances in wheel carriers, wishbones and other components of your vehicle no longer play a role. The new MR33 Circle Droop Gauge V2 is graduated in 0.2mm steps and has a measuring range of 21.0 – 25.0mm. In order to compare these values with the conventional old known suspension travel of your current vehicle (e.g. 4.0 or 6.0), you simply have to carry out a comparison measurement. You can then write these values in a small table, for example, so that you always know quickly how to compare the values of the “new” gauge with those of the “old” gauge on the racetrack.
