Xray Column – From XB8 To XB9

…and chief designer Juraj Hudy is now online. In this months column, Juraj discusses the development of the new XB9 buggy platform in particular the creation of the final cab forward body shell. After I had the “virtual“concept and idea, I needed to make a real 3D model from clay to have the feeling of every small detail. It took me several days to get the clay model where I wanted it to be. Durango DESC410R rear bumper

Durango have announced that the DESC410R rear bumper is now available. The new full-width rear bumper gives extra protection as well as scale looks and also meets the strict rules governing some race meetings where large rear bumpers are a requirement. The bumper can be run in lightweight or full-protection setups by adding or removing the included optional lower bar. Thomas Mayr signs for SWorkz

Current Austrian National Champion, young Thomas Mayr has signed to race for SWorkz. Following his first test with the S350 BK1 buggy, the former Mugen driver was very happy with his choice and looking forward to racing for the SWorkz International Team. His goals for 2012 is to defend his Austrian title, and do his best at the EC Warmup as well as the EC which will be held at Fehring in Austria which will be a home event for him. Xray Column – Never-ending Development

The 57th installment in the Xray column from Xray owner and chief designer Juraj Hudy is now online.
