Japanese company Nuclear have introduced the ASM Type 3 3.5cc nitro engine. It comes with a new piston, sleeve, connecting rod, piston pin and back plate that underwent a special process to reduce friction as much as possible. The piston and sleeve also show greatly reduced pinch without sacrificing compression to further up the performance with all parts being matched for optimised durability. In the end Timo would prevail by eight hundreds of a second with Roger in 2nd. The Swiss GT class saw Andi Frattaroli taking the TQ from Michael Häuptli, Pascal Fässler who scored a round TQ each. Silvio decided to change the tyres after 20 minutes and Mattia knew that his car was still very fast with small tires too, so he changed the tyres some 25 minutes into the race. After changing tyres Mattia and Silvio were still in the same lap, but Silvio had a 10 seconds advantage. Coming from Sweep Racing are 17mm aluminium wheel nuts for 1/8th off-road vehicles and GT cars. They are of a closed design to keep dust and dirt from affecting the wheel hub threads and a serrated backside keep the wheel nuts from become loose during hard racing action. Nuclear R/C Japan have released a first image of the ASM brand .21 competition nitro on-road engine. ASM will have two 3.5cc engines available at the beginning with more to come in the future such as an engine break-in service and more.
