Schumacher 2WD V4 Ball Diff

Schumacher has released a new V4 ball diff intended for its range of LD3 to Laydown 2WD models. Designed for performance, durability and convenience, with its new optimised steel plates, a new internal spring, a highly stable diff gear, and a large bearing design it gives you a truly professional ball diff for your 2WD buggy. The British manufacturer’s race team has driven the development of this high quality diff with an external adjustment screw which means you can adjust the diff tension without disconnecting a single part of the car. So gone are the days where you cannot adjust the diff quickly just before your run starts. The Ground diff plates made from high quality bearing steel are mounted to our new diff halves which have been especially ground for improved flatness on the crucial surfaces.

RC Bike World Championship 2025 – Announcement

For the first time since its inception back in 2004, the RC Bike World Championship’s will be held outside of Europe with Australia hosting the 19th running of the Championship in 2025. Riders will decent on the city of Brisbane for the main event from August 3-9th with Queensland Radio Circuit Car Racing Association also hosting a Pre Worlds event at England Park Raceway from May 18-24th. With the World Championship organisation being headed up Australian RC Bike Specialist Holeshot Hobbies, 2025 will see that addition of a new support race category for 1:4 Supermoto bikes to cater for the popular Losi Promoto and X-Rider CRS bikes. The RC Bike Worlds is a unique competition, being self governed and self managed through a group of Team managers (selected by each country). Decisions on rule changes, future locations for the events and other items related to the event and classes run are all made through a voting system via the Team managers. For the first time the event will be professionally live streamed by RC Race Media, the same people who broadcast the Asian Buggy Championships and who will bring the IFMAR 1:10 Offroad World Championships live to the world later this year. Xray Diff Bevel & Satellite Gears with O-Rings

Xray has introduced this new Diff Bevel & Satellite Gears with O-Rings set that is suitable for its 1:10 Offroad platforms and its NT1 1:10 Nitro Touring Car. The redesigned diff bevel & satellite gears feature a groove for O-rings which creates a self-locking effect of the diff which improves the forward traction. Fitting the XB2, XT2, SCX, XB4, XT4 and NT1, the set is srecommended for higher traction tracks and is also claimed to offer improved consistency.

Haatanen joins Ruddog in full time ambassador role

Continuing its growth both as a brand and a distributor, Ruddog has announced the signing of Finnish Offroad racer Joona Haatanen as a full time brand ambassador of the company. A long time factory team driver for Team Associated, for whom Ruddog are the iconic US brands German, Austrian, Czech Republic, Italian and Swiss distributor, Haatanen will continue his successful racing career with AE and Reedy. Building on his many years of experience also as a Ruddog supported driver, in the new role he will be based in Germany and represent Ruddog distributed brands at events throughout Europe.

The updated design features 5.5mm thickness as well as increased material in essential high load areas to improve durability. Manufactured from 7075 T6 Aluminium with black anodising the set includes 1x V2 Front Left Bulkhead, 1x V2 Front Right Bulkhead, 1x V2 Rear Left Bulkhead, 1x V2 Rear Right Bulkhead with each bulkhead also available separately.

Team Cayote signs Polish talent Zalewski

Further bolstering its team line-up ahead of their 1:10 Offroad World Championships debut in Australia later this year, electronic brand Team Cayote has announced the signing of promising Polish talent Bartek Zalewski. Winner of the MIBO International earlier this year and backing that up with a win at the British Off Road Grand Prix a week later, Zalewski is currently on his way to Sydney for the Worlds Warm-up Race with Xray having high hopes for the 17-year-old. On the announcement Team Cayote, which is headed up by Oscar Jansen, posted, ‘We’re thrilled to welcome Bartek Zalewski to the Team Cayote family! Rocket-RC Taurus V2 1:8 Competition Motor

Surpass Hobby has released their latest 1:8 competition brushless motor, the Rocket-RC Taurus V2. Complying with IFMAR, EFRA, ROAR and BRCA specificiations, the Taurus V2 features an optimised design for improved efficiency and reduce running temperature. Except for two screws for adjusting the timing angle, it uses a screwless structural design of 4-pole 12-slot high-torque motor. The motor timing angle can be accurately adjusted in both directions without deviation to meet the power needs. The Hall sensor is installed on the bottom cover of the motor, effectively avoiding magnetic interference; the temperature of the bottom cover is low and the IC has a longer service life. The heat dissipation shell is CNC machined from 6061 T6 aluminium while the front end cover uses 4 M3 and 4 M4 screw holes making it suitable for various mounting bases. The V2 adopts 0.2mm ultra-thin silicon steel stator and detachable/replaceable rotor design with NMB high-speed oversized bearings for smooth wear-resistant running. Surpass use high purity high temperature resistant 2200C copper wire, stable performance and longer life. Suitable for 1:8 electric onroad RVs, offroad and trucks, it feature excellent waterproof and dustproof performance (except Onroad version) and can easily cope with various rain or dusty offroad environments.
