Speedzone have announced that multiple US Nationals Champion Mike Dumas, will use Speedzone LiPo Packs to power his touring and 1/12 cars. Today’s brushless racing introduced new variables, such as mechanical timing, speedo timing, RPM ranges, rotor diameters on top of the rollout variable. The new McPappy Racing DIY Brushless Dyno helps you to make sense of some of that. This dyno platform will allow you to test your motors against a brushless slave motor that provides consistent resistance from test to test. …took his DNX408 to a victory at Round 1 of the Slough summer series. Kevin Brunsden put his DNX408 in second to complete a 1-2 for Team Durango. Elliott made few changes from his general setup from the Astroturf track he raced the week before for the Slough dirt track. The track was very rough, dry and dusty, a real test for any can to drive fast. Team Durango cars were a step above the rest however and after taking TQ, Elliott lapped the entire field except for his team mate Kevin during the 20 minute A-Final. Nosram have released software updates for their Pearl range of ESCs including the Evolution, ISTC version 2 and Spec racing version 2. The update improves the sensor handling algorithm as well as fixing low speed stutter which some drivers experienced at times on the evolution and ISTC V2. The update on the Pearl Spec racing V2 features improved bootloading code, from v4.4 upwards gives faster & more secure updating, adjusted Mode3 timing maps which decrease motor temperature drastically and revised brake for sharper response.
