Marty brings decades of top-level RC racing and industry experience to the position. Living in Southern California will help him play an integral role in communicating with A Main Hobbies and ProTek R/C team drivers and customers, providing technical support and assistance both online and at racing events across the country. Suitable for a wide range of engine size past 3.5cc, it puts the engine under load during running to simulate on track usage and even sports a built in brake. The 51st installment in the Xray column from Xray owner and chief designer Juraj Hudy is now online. Xray have announced the re-signing of 2002 ISTC World Champion Surikarn Chaidajsuriya. The Thai driver is a great all round driver taking wins in both on road and offroad and will run the Slovakian company’s T3’11, NT1 and 808 cars this season. Surikarn had this to say: I’m very happy that I have extended my contract with Xray. I will continue to race and test with Team Xray in the 2011 season, as well as continue using great Hudy products. The GP meetings have brought together racers from all around the world and delivered some of the closest racing ever seen in the UK. Andy Moore, Chris Grainger, Elliott Harper and Olly Jefferies have all taken the GP title in previous years and points from both the 2011 rounds will determine this years Series Champion.
