Xray T3 – History Repeating

…it is even meant this way but Xray forgot to mention it? Finish Electronic-wise we used a nice potpourri of parts we had at hand. We opted for LPR’s SXX TC Spec speedo, Team Orion’s Carbon Molecular LiPo batteries and an Speed Passion Competition 2.0 5.5T motor. The Blitz Altis body was painted by Kai Kobüssen of www.ok-gfx.de Track test The track test took place at a new permanent indoor track near Hamburg in Germany. The track did not see too many traffic beforehand making it quite low traction. We started with LRP VTEC 30R tyres all round, treated with…

Neil Cragg victorious at SNRC winter series

CML are reporting on the latest round of the SNRC winter series that was graced by the attendance of a few of the top national drivers, aiming to do battle with the fast local drivers on this challenging track. The Stoke track is a good blend of fast and technical sections with quite a few jumps to test the drivers ability. Durango shows of the DNX408’s rear end

The 408 claims to ‘probably be the lightest car on the market’, which is thanks to many design considerations such as the minimalistic gearbox case, slender but tough bulkheads and the smallest rear overhang of any car. We wanted the shocks of the DNX408 to be ahead of the axle, for better weight distribution, better wheel control over bumps/landings…

Durango DEX210 2wd buggy prototype

…taken the covers of their new 2wd prototype buggy, the DEX210, which will be raced at the “Petit” event in Kent this weekend. The thinking behind the DEX210 is to be the first car where mid & rear motor mounting is possible from the same car, ensuring Durango owners can be have the ideal layout whatever the track. Private testing has already been carried out with various gearbox configurations & motor locations, but as always Durango like to test properly before finalising the design so off to the Petit race Gerd goes with his hand made car.
