…Winterchamps took place this weekend in Stans in the centre of Switzerland. The stock touring class was dominated by the TOP Racing team with former Swiss Champion Philipp Tschupp taking the TQ spot ahead of his team mates Stefan Helbach in 2nd and Florian Hauser in 3rd. In the race itself the results remained the same from qualifying with Tschupp taking the win in the first 2 legs of the A-main to take the overall win the Helbach taking 2nd spot and setting a new lap record of 9.77 seconds, while Hauser took 3rd spot. We have received photos of the all new AMB IT personal transponder that was being tested recently at the MACH indoor track in the Netherlands. Some drivers were given the new MyLaps PT to test out and so we ended up with pictures. The previous PT was very innovative and changed how we race, but it had been around for a long time and was due and upgrade, and so here it is. …leg, Stephan led from pole position and with no mistakes could take the win. This set up a showdown for the overall win in the 3rd leg and while Stephan got away cleanly, Michael was able to make the pass and could take the win and along with it the overall victory, with Stephan settling for 2nd, while Michel Grosjean took the 3rd spot. Florian Hauser made a very good race, was very fast but some mistakes cost him a secure 3rd position but he was able to secure the Junior title with 4th place.
