AGFRC Pro 55kg Large Torque Standard Size Servo

New from servo manufacturer AGFRC is this new standard case 55kg servo A81BMWP which is a PRO version of the A81BHMW.  It keep the same size but with superb powerful motor, suitable for the professional competition drivers who pursue the ultimate and extreme, or for the project engineer with limit budget but with high quality request.  A full aluminium case and structure, hardened steel gears and the advanced motor ensure excellent linearity and precision control.  All these optimisations allow the servo produce 55KG 0.087Sec spec at 8.4V regular voltage.  The servo is particularly suitable for large RC cars and giant aircraft and other demanding applications with an emphasis on high thrust and accuracy. Super fast response of the control electronics and high long-term durability.  Thanks to the dust-proof and waterproof housing (resistance according to the International Protection Code IP-67 – completely prevents contact with dust, withstands immersion in water to a depth of 1 m for a 30-minute test run), it is also suitable for offroad cars.  Common use supply voltage up to 8.4V(2s LiPo battery), it enables a very simple implementation of on-board electronics with 2.4 GHz receivers without the need for additional stabilisers or regulators.

Ielasi Tuned GP5R24 1:8 GT engine

Italy’s Ielasi Tuned has a new 2024 version of its World Championship winning 1:8 GT .21 engine with the announcement of the release of the GP5R24.  Used by their official drivers at the recent EFRA European Championship in Italy with excellent results, securing the TQ and getting 3 out of 3 drivers in the main final with Edoardo Repetti going on to finish in second place, the new engine features two fundamental components changes.  A new exclusive Ielasi Tuned piston made by O.S. from Daniele Ielasi own design and new “R” reinforced O.S. conrod.  Also improved is the crankshaft timing and the cooling head has also been enlarged while still maintaining lightness.

Hasi Tuned .21 Underhead options for new fuel type

New from Hasi Tuned, the engine brand fronted by leading Swiss nitro racer Silvio Hächler, are these two different underhead options for .21 1:8 Onroad & 1:8 GT engines.  They have a different shape especially designed for improved performance with new types of fuel.  They offer a better fitting on Hasi Tuned & O.S. Engines sleeves with one specifically for 25% Nitro content fuel and one for 16% use.

Lens Bodies prototype ‘Volturno’ 1:8 Buggy Body

Italian body shell manufacturer Lens Bodies has officially announced details of it’s upcoming ‘Volturno’ 1:8 Buggy body shell.  With its styling sure to divide options, they ran a prototype of the body at last weekend’s EFRA 1:8 Electric Buggy European Championship in France on the Sworkz of multiple European Champion Elliott Boots.  On announcing the ‘Volturno’ they stated, ‘This prototype already created a lot of hype and speculations for its design and performances on the track: Elliott, our test driver, opted to use this bodyshell for 2nd and 3rd qualifying rounds, keeping the VOLTURNO up to the main finals.  Certainly a design out of the ordinary, you might like it or not, but at Lens Bodies we aim to performances even breaking the schemes of ordinary design.  We had a lot of interesting feedbacks to keep on improving this design. Revolution Design RC10B7 Ultra Titanium Turnbuckle Set

Revolution Design Racing Products has released its own premium Ultra Titanium Turnbuckle Sets specifically designed for the Team Associated RC10B7 and RC10B7D buggies.  Available in blue and black, the turnbuckles are made from 6AL-4V Grade 5 titanium and weigh only 1.9g each, contributing to reduced overall weight and improved performance.  The turnbuckles feature a laser-etched RDRP logo and an arrow indicating the thread direction, making it easier to adjust camber and toe settings. Double for Rinderknecht at JConcepts Summer INS

The third stop on the calendar of the 14th season of JConcepts’ popular Indoor National Series saw Xray driver Tom Rinderknecht do the double in Iowa.  Racing at the Island Speedway Offroad indoor track, the Summer 1 Carpet Indoor Nationals saw the Schumacher of Broc Champlin secure the TQ in both Mod 2WD & 4WD with Rinderknecht lining up P2.  In 2WD Rinderknecht would take A1 from the pole sitter who in turn took A2 to set the stage for an A3 shoot out that Rinderknecht duly won to take the overall.  Behind Champlin, the 2WD podium was completed by the Team Associated of Davey Batta ahead of former 2-time World Champion Spencer Rivkin.  In 4WD, Champlin would suffer a DNF in A1 as took the win which he repeated in A2 to wrap things up early.  Taking the A3 win Batta secured second with multiple World Champion & 5th place qualifier Ryan Cavalieri taking his Schumacher to third ahead of Rivkin as Champlin completed the Top 5.
