Yokomo’s Ginting latest confirmation for FIRC

Team Yokomo’s Indonesian National Touring Car Champion Bowie Ginting is the latest factory driver to be confirmed for the Foshan International Invitational RC Championship in China on December 15-17. Joining the Japanese manufacturer at the beginning of the 2023 season, the 29-year-old joins team-mate & Australian Champion Simon Nicholson for the inaugural event at the new 800 square metres GDC Indoor track located in the in central Guangdong Province. The TITC Open Class A-Finalist and recent winner of the Indonesia Year End Race is the 5th nationality of driver to be confirmed for FIRC which the organisers hope will become an annual event on the International Touring Car race calendar. Other high profile entries confirmed for the Foshan International Invitational RC Championship include former World Champion Ronald Volker from Mugen Seiki and Xpress team driver & 1:12 World Finalist Yugo Nagashima.

MonTech P-963 1:10 190mm body

New from Italian bodyshell producer Mon-Tech Racing is the P-963 1:10 190mm body. The latest addition to their range of Hyper Car LMH series based bodies, the P-963 has can be mounted on all the latest generation 1:10 Touring Cars and on the Formula chassis with a 260mm wheelbase. The kit includes all the stickers, the masking along with the fixing screws for the wing.

Yeah Racing 1:8 Onroad Tweak Wheel Set

New from Yeah Racing is this Tweak Wheel Set for 1:8 Onroad use. The set allows you to accurately check if your car has any form of tweak with this set of bearing supported weighted setup wheels. Place your car on a flat surface and rotate the weights on their side. Slowly lift your chassis and if a side rotates first it means that corresponding side is tweaked. Adjust your spring preload accordingly.

2024 EFRA 1:12 European C/ship – Announcement

With just two weeks until the best 1:12 scale drivers from around the World battle it out to become World Champion in the Florida, the host track of next year’s annual European Championship has published details for the 41st running of the EFRA title. First held in 1981 in the Switzerland, the 2024 championship will kick start the EFRA European Championship calendar running from April 12-14 at the Paradise RC Arena in Sicily, Italy. With Xray’s Alexander Hagberg the reigning Champion, the Swede will chase a record 9th European title which would make him the championship’s most successful driver after he equalled David Spashett’s 8th title wins this year in the United Kingdom. With five front and rear options to choose from, they are supplied with colour code heat shrink for easy non-wearing identification. The front springs start from 4.0lbs to 5.50lbs while the rears start at 2.0lbs and run to 2.5lbs and are compatible with all 1:10 Offroad platforms that utilise 13mm big bore dampers.

Ielasi Tuned GP9R23 WC .21 Onroad engine

World and European Champion engine tuner Ielasi Tuned has announcement that their GP9R23 Spec2 .21 1:8 Onroad engine becomes the GP9R23 WC. Compared to the previous version, the WC version differs only in one detail which was successfully tested at the World Championship in Japan by their official team drivers. That part is the new engine backplate with revised internal workmanship that further optimises the performance/consumption ratio. The WC version of the GP9 was a must after the excellent results obtained at the World Championship where it achieved the TQ with Simon Kurzbuch and a double podium with Toni Gruber finish P2 and Kurzbuch P3.

Hasi Tuned 7R and 9R .21 Onroad engines

Hasi Tuned has announced that its new 7R and 9R .21 onroad engines are now available. Compared to the current engines the main feature of the new 7R and 9R is in the material of the cylinder. As previously featured here on Red RC, the new engines are equipped with an aluminium sleeve (AAC) instead of brass (ABC). A new red cooling-head and new graphics immediately identify the new engines. Similar to the brass models, these were also tested over several months before release on the market in order to guarantee, as per Hasi Tuned policy, a product of high quality, easy to use, without compromising performance. Like for the ABC cylinders, the new AAC version can be fitted on any OS base engine starting from the R2101 and ending with the R2105.
