Gรผnsel wins Rd8 German South Regionals

Last weekend at the Augsburg track in the south of the Germany, saw the 8th round of the 1/10th southern regionals run under sunny conditions. Qualifying saw the Xray NT1 trio of Andreas Myrberg, Thomas Günsel und Dirk Wischnewski take the top 3 spots and in the final the outcome was very similar with Günsel taking the win from team mates Sebastian Feller and Alfred Kieslinger in 2nd and 3rd respectively, Myrberg finished in 8th after a technical problem. XRAY Column – XT8 Truggy

The 9th installment in the Xray column from Xray owner and chief designer Juraj Hudy is now online. In this months column, Juraj takes about the development of the newly released XT8 truggy and the work that went into producing this car, from concept, to testing, to final production as well as the many setbacks on the way to market. Kidderminster Nationals report by oOple

The second round of the BRCA electric buggy nationals were held last weekend at the multi surface Kidderminster track in the mid west of England. Weather was on and off for the weekend with Saturdays running for 2wd taking place in wet / dry conditions, while Sundays 4wd race was run in a lot wetter conditions (above) with the result being called after 2 rounds of qualifying due to worsening weather. oOple have of course got a great report online, including video, and should have lots of pictures online soon too, so check that and find out how Neil Cragg…

XRAY Column – Back to the Races

…is now online. In this months column Juraj discusses the pressures surrounding getting the companies 2 new cars, the XB8EC and NT1, packed, ready and to market and also discusses how he fits the many races into his busy schedule. The last weeks before a deadline get frantically busy in the packaging department, who has to package an unbelievably large amount of parts into the building packages, as well as package a huge amount of spare parts. Daniele Ielasi wins Rd2 Italian Nationals

Last weekend in Italy at the fast Fiorano track, close to the Ferrari test track, the second round of the Italian Nationals took place and in qualifying it was young Serpent racer Andrea Cristiani that took the TQ with Mugen driver, and round 1 winner, Alberto Picco lining up in 2nd with Lamberto Collari in 3rd for Kyosho. The race was an hour long, and so endurance was as important as speed and in the end it was Daniele Ielasi, who had won his semi final to make it into the main, that took the win by 1 lap ahead…

Sirio 2007 Engine line-up

Sirio might have been dropped by Kyosho in favour of CRF for team and kit supply but Sirio are still going strong and are still producing very competitive engines. We got hold of images of Sirios 2007 engine lineup from our sponsors, and official Sirio agents, The Border, and we have put them online to show you. A lot of the motors carry forward from last year with the exception of the CL7R STI (above) which is the latest and greatest version of their 3.5cc circuit motor, and the CL7B STI which is the latest top of the line 3.5cc…

First Pictures – Kyosho CRF motors

As we have exclusive told you already, it seems the deal is done between Kyosho and Swiss company CRF to supply the Japanses firm with engines in place of Sirio. Pictures of the first Kyosho branded CRF came out online today and here they are, sporting a gold head with Kyosho by Team Orion engraved into it, the side of the crankcase also sports the Kyosho K logo.
