JConcepts truck tire inner sidewall support adaptor

Continuing development is critical to performance and the team at JConcepts have developed a new option for tire sidewall support. During high traction or loaded conditions, tire sidewall deflection causes oversteer and inconsistency with driving performance. By adding the inner sidewall support adaptor and gluing it into place, the sidewall effectively becomes much harder and allows a driver to enter smoother arcs and radius turns on the race track. Already used in competition, the sidewall support pieces have shown to work on glued, sealed, or naturally grippy surfaces where traction rolling or oversteer is an issue. In addition, when conditions are rough, bumpy or dusty, the additional support drives smoother and with more consistency. At this year’s ROAR Nationals, Dakotah Phend, in conjunction with the JConcepts race team, installed the adaptors into the Smoothie 2 tires and Phend TQ’ed and won the 2wd and 4wd modified classes in convincing fashion.

Xtreme Racing Optima Mid carbon options

Xtreme Racing have announced some new items for the Kyosho Optima Mid 2022 re release. These include a 2.5mm quasi carbon fibre chassis, a 2mm radio tray along with 3mm front shock tower, rear shock tower and rear camber mount. All parts are designed to replace the stock parts without any modification and add strength along with great looks. All parts are made from high quality US made carbon fibre and machined in USA also.

Team Associated 7″ pre-cut wing

Team Associated have introduced a new 7″ pre-cut wing for 1:10 scale off-road buggies. The new, higher downforce 7″ wing adds additional high-speed stability over the currently available 6.5″ wing for when track layouts and conditions call for it. In general, more downforce will be desired on tracks that have high grip or a lot of high-speed and sweeping corners. Sold as one clear, pre-cut wing per package. Wing mount dimples are not drilled.

JConcepts 2020 Ford Raptor BF Power logo MT body

JConcepts lowers the boom on the latest body for Losi LMT and Axial SMT10 vehicles. The BF Power logo is a collaboration between JConcepts and the gracious Bigfoot 4X4 team on a fantasy style and fan inspired scheme. The identity is produced to lay out on the JC 2020 Ford Raptor body which is popular in the RC and full-size monster truck community. As one of the best performing and most accurate body shells on the market, the Raptor fits well and allows the trucks to reach their maximum potential. The decal scheme itself pops. Large racing bolts make their way on to the sides of the body giving a nod to racer stripe schemes from the past. The bolts continue through the A-pillar area and over the nose in dual fashion to bring excitement from the side to the front-end. The BF logo treatment is developed to stand-out and fill door space featuring an updated digital desert landscape as inside artwork. T-Works low profile titanium clutch screw

T-Works have introduced this Ti64 grade titanium low profile clutch screw. This lightweight but very strong clutch screw features an inner hexagonal hole of 2.5mm and an outer hexagon of 7mm allowing it to be used with either a hex wrench or hex socket driver.

JConcepts Power Master crawler body

JConcepts introduces a new body to the crawling and scaling enthusiast who appreciates a hard-nose and retro vibe. The Power Master follows along the success of popular shells like the Creep and CreepER styles by the team from Groveland, Florida. The concentration of the platform is for versatility and offering clearance for an abundance of rigs who are in kit form or highly modified for the trails and technical courses. The start of the design begins at the grille, a short overhang provides a lot of options in terms of aftermarket bumper options. The V-shaped front-end allows for more tire clearance with minimum overhang for less snags and space for truck geometry and grippy tires. The cab has a real retro vibe, the round shape, front to back and side to side, pay dividends in sketchy terrain or when the truck turns over. The window style has split dividers capturing trucks from yesteryear when venting and structural construction depended on it.

Xtreme Racing DBXL 2.0 gas buggy servo mount

New from Xtreme Racing and designed to fit the Losi DBXL 2.0 gas buggy, this servo mount replaces the stock plastic mount. Made using 4mm thick carbon fibre deck, aluminium standoffs and custom machined plastic radio box, this kit is designed to use only one steering servo. The kit version also comes with a carbon battery tray designed for 2 cell ‘shorty’ hard packs.
