Niclas Nilsson wins, Michael Nilsson champion

The sixth and final round of the South Swedish Indoor Cup was held in Gothenburg and 30 drivers attended in the Modified class, which is quite good for this time of the season. The track saw some low grip and a tight and very technical layout making it very hard to go fast. After three rounds of qualifying Niclas Nilsson took TQ followed closely by Michael Nilsson and super talented Niklas Johansson, normally driving 1/8 onroad. After some nice qualifying we made it into the finals.

Mckune Design MD-FGX carbon fiber conversion

Mckune Design is pleased to announce the release of the much anticipated MD-FGX carbon fiber conversion kit for the 3Racing FGX Formula 1 RC car. The MD-FGX conversion kit allows the use of either standard or shorty 7.4V LiPo batteries. Other features include tunable chassis flex with a regular and stiff tie plate, carbon front wing mount, new standoff location for motor clearance and the ability to run the FGX optional aluminium motor mount, front weight and aluminium steering rack. MD-FGX is available as a complete kit or the chassis and top deck assembly can be purchased separately. Both the chassis and top deck assembly are a direct replacement for stock FGX parts.

Xtreme Racing XO-1 carbon chassis

Xtreme Racing has produced a replacement 3mm thick carbon fiber chassis and top plate for the Traxxas XO-1. Save 16 grams with this replacement, which works with the aerodynamic elements of the original kit part, while keeping a stiffer chassis for more consistent handling over those 100mph+ runs.

Kyosho TF6 SP kit

Kyosho is pleased to announce the release of the updated TF6 touring car, called the TF6 SP. Featuring a narrowed front and rear chassis design to optimise traction the kit also includes a new upper deck, newly designed steering unit with optimised Ackermann geometry for a more linear steering feel, aluminium spool joint cup for improved durability, longer suspension arms and a rear gear differential to make use of the latest high-power brushless and LiPo set-ups.
