Infinity IF14-2 FWD RS

Creation Model released an updated version of its Infinity front wheel drive 1:10 Electric Touring Car, the IF14-2 FWD RS.  The USP2 shocks from the IF14-2 Team Edition are now standard items, further lowering the centre of gravity and improving handling.  The drivetrain also features an aluminium differential outdrive and lightweight D.J. CVD joints as standard equipment for lighter weight and superior throttle response.  With a FWD chassis there is no need for a rear differential, so the IF14-2FWD RS features a rear bulkhead specifically designed for the FWD platform. This results in fewer parts for easier maintenance.  New RS-specific design is compatible with USP2 shocks.  The proven suspension geometry provides stable grip and traction regardless of track conditions.

WRC Racing RTX 1:8 Truggy

Having announced back in March it would be adding a 1:8 Truggy to its range of kits, Italian manufacturer WRC Racing has released some more details and a body on image of its ‘coming soon’ RTX kit.  Available in both nitro and electric variants, the key features of the all new design are highlighted as optimised weight distribution in terms of the engine and battery positioning and the use of symmetric parts each side of the chassis.  Another key element of the kit is WRC Racing’s own aerodynamic one piece body.  Having gone big with the signing of Ryan Cavalieri in 2023, the nitro TRX and electric RTXE truggies will allow the multiple Offroad World Champion to race a complete WRC 1:8 chassis line-up having relied on a Team Associated chassis for the truggy class at the recent ROAR Nationals.

Fenix Racing sphere diff and Upper Arm Mounts

Fenix Racing has announced details of two new items that feature on the new G56.2 Pro10 chassis it released last week, the new Sphere Differential and new Upper Mounts.  The Italian manufacturer took advantage of the releasing of the new G56.2 to rework their Pro10 sphere diff.  As they did with the Pro 10 Gear Diff, in the Mk2 version, they’ve a complete new right hub, with the main bearings distance almost doubled, to ensure better trueness.  They kept the thrust bearing to the diff, as well the gr.5 Titanium axle (a carbon fibre one will be released later, as option), 5 belleville springs to ensure a proper force over the spheres.  Also new are upper arm mounts that will fit the F1 Mistral 2.0 and 3.3 as well G56 and G56.2.  The new upper arm mounts are machined from high-quality 7075 aluminium and they greatly reduce play and unwanted flex, resulting in a more precise feeling of the car on the track.  The newer version allows you to get some extra caster angle in an easier way, compared with the old ones.  It’s just enough to move the 1mm shims back or front to get some more caster.  Black anodised for wear and look, they come in pairs including all necessary hardware.
